Affair of the Poisons

In 1679, King Louis XIV established a ‘Chambre Ardente” or a “burning court” made to investigate potential witches that the public believed to be causing poison related deaths. What began as a search for a murder became the “Affair of the Poisons,” one of the largest witch trials in history, taking three times the lives taken by the Salem witch Trials.

Erie (PA) Rep. Mike Kelly (in a defense of a “man” who literally mocks disabled people) compares Donald (who extorted the president of the Ukraine using taxpayer dollars to investigate a political rival) to the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

He said that like Pearl Harbor, the impeachment of Donald (who again extorted a foreign leader) will live in “infamy”.

No, Mike, THIS “man” as president will live in infamy.

Three hundred years from now people will still wonder how he ever became president and how people like you defended him.

The impeachment has also been compared to, stupidly, the Salem Witch trial.

Donald, I think some of your supporters still believe there are actual witches
