How is the paw doing 💔?

The vet confirmed that he hasn't been injured in any way, but his paws have become a bit dry and calloused, and he may have been limping because of that. It's very cold here right now, and these guys are exposed to the cold roads and rough ground all time time. The vet gave us an ointment for his paws and now he's just fine! He's running everywhere like before!

I want to tell you that you are doing so wonderful with Luca in my eyes. You care so much, you are doing so much for him - he is such a happy boy to be with an kind, lovely and caring human like you ❤. Hi!!

I got a voicemail from the surgeon this morning. They had to adjust his pain meds last night because apparently he was pretty uncomfortable and a little anxious. They're going to see how he does today and try to taper him to oral pain meds/antibiotics.

I have to call around 4 to check in. If he's still super uncomfortable they might keep him another night to monitor him, otherwise I should hopefully be able to go get him.

If they do end up keeping him I'm going to go visit him so either way I'll get to see him tonight!
