The Tony and Grammy award winning production “Beautiful-The Carole King Musical” is now gracing the stage at Broadway Austin. Salisha Thomas is part of the vibrant and energetic cast and she stopped by with more on what we can expect. In the show she plays Lucille, the secretary of Don Kirshner who helped Carole King get her first big break.

Salisha Thomas, Bullard High School grad and proud Good Company Players alum, did what a lot of young actors do to chase a dream:
She moved to New York after college to find a job in the theater.
It took her six days.
She landed a plum role in the ensemble of the first national tour of “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical,” which is playing at San Francisco’s Orpheum Theatre.
“I hadn’t even unpacked yet,” says Thomas, 24.
