The Salmon Run Goldies always make me think of a fish in a Jesus costume. Who shall see the face of Cod and live? (Not you, if you’re covered in Glowflies.)

Also, in general, the Salmonids give off this “designed by Ursula Vernon” vibe. I know she had nothing to do with it, but something about those buggy eyes and the shape of the jaws is just so much like how she would design the damned things. It’s almost distracting to me, because I start to wonder how she would react if she saw them. So. @tkingfisher, look at these little monsters. Look at them. I am like 90% sure that if you’d independently designed an evil fish monster, it would have THAT EXACT FACE.
