You can enjoy the flavors of salmon keftethes cakes in the form of burgers. Fresh herbs and spices are used to make these tasty salmon patties. They are served with crunchy vegetables and tzatziki sauce on top. The perfect mix of Greek and American food!
Ingredients: 1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skin removed. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley. 1 egg, beaten. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 burger buns. Lettuce leaves. Sliced tomatoes. Sliced red onion. Tzatziki sauce for topping.
Instructions: Cut the fresh salmon fillet into little chunks and put them in a bowl. Mix the garlic, dill, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper into the minced garlic, breadcrumbs, and add them to the bowl with the salmon. Thoroughly mix the ingredients together until they are well blended. Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty. Set the grill or skillet over medium-high heat and add a little oil to it. For about four to five minutes on each side, or until they are cooked all the way through and have a nice golden brown crust. Put the burger buns on the grill and toast them for one minute, or until they are just barely golden. Put lettuce leaves on the bottom bun of each burger, then the salmon keftethes cake patty, sliced tomatoes, and sliced red onion. Put tzatziki sauce on top of the patty, and then put the top bun on top of that. Warm up the Salmon Keftethes Cakes Burgers and serve them with your favorite sides.
