7. LipsSal’s lips are a bit on the thinner side.He has snake bite piercings on his lower lip and usually wears a pair rings, whether they can be seen or not. They sort of curve and shape his lips when he wearing them. Like a cat’s!As his lips are usually covered up, that’s most easily seen in his hypothetical fusions with Encreline or Callie.

9. TeethSal has pretty standard teeth has far as humans go, and considering how much of Sal’s diet consists of sweets, they’re in considerably good shape. After he returned to his human appearance, he bought some surgical masks so there’s very little opportunity for others to see his teeth. Still, he has considered finding a way to get a fake beak covering shaped to his teeth in case he loses access to them somehow.As a nautilus, he- like other cephalopods -had an actual beak. Beaks of evolved nautiluses tend to be near white but have faint striations, gray in color, and they have shorter upper ‘fang teeth’ than Inklings.

5. BellySal’s a little bit skinnier around his belly and waist than his hips. He’s just an absolute noodle.While he was generally hairless as a nautilus, his lower tummy is covered in a layer of soft human fur, including just a bit over his navel. He tends to cover up because Inklings don’t have fur, much less navels.

8. TonguePink and slimy. It’s like the standard human tongue.His nautilus tongue is quite a bit closer to the usual Inkling or Octarian’s, having mostly denticles with some remnants of the radula a little closer to the back and along the edges.

10. BackLike his hips, the bones in Sal’s back (his scapula and parts of his spine) are pretty apparent and emphasizes the spinal groove line that runs down his back. His back is also a little bit curved due to a very minor curvature in his spine (potentially from bad posture).His nautiloid appearance had a very smooth back apart from some ribbed muscle.

4. HipsThough they’re a bit wider than around his waist, Sal’s generally skinny all over, so he has pretty flat, bony hips. Human-unique features aside, they’re pretty well defined due to his ridiculous lack of any weight. He’s been told often enough he should eat more to put on some and keep from being so bony, but really that’s just never done a thing for him.

14. Eye(s)He was born with a birth defect, leaving him with only his left eye. Though he could probably get a glass eye, he’s always just preferred wearing an eye patch. His one good eye is sort of amber/yellow in color, very similarly to Judd’s eye color actually.Back when he was a nautilus, both of his eyes were fully functioning (although very, very weak) and were instead a light purple in color with small vertical pupils. They had small vertical markings that indented on his skin a little just below his eyes and even though his right eye was fully functioning, the right one ended up getting covered by his weirdly lopsided shell.His eye shape is sorta flat on top with a rounder bottom side and they’ve got some small bags (due to his messed up sleep schedule). It sort of gives him a perpetually ‘dead’ expression.
