1. What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?

There are a lot of OTP's that I guess I "get"- like from an objective standpoint I understand the tropes and dynamics that appeal to people- but I don't really get it. Ships like Caleb/Jester and Watcher/Eder come to mind- logically I understand the appeal, but they just don't grab me

7. Is there anything you used to like but can’t stand now?

Anything with a bad finale, ha. And there's a lot of stuff that, looking back, does not hold up as well as I remember it. Harry Potter is probably the biggest one- which sucks because I really used to love it and I have a lot of good memories of my friends and I going to midnight releases and stuff in middle school, but now it's all kind of spoiled.

19. What is the one thing you hate most about your fandom?

I don't think there's one thing? Usually once a fandom really starts to get on my nerves I just blacklist it for a while so I don't have to deal with it lol

23. Unpopular character you love?

Hmm, I do love a lot of characters people don't like- I just really love messy characters, they're so interesting and usually have so much potential (even if the source material doesn't recognize it...)

The first character that comes to mind is Carver Hawke from Dragon Age- a lot of people don't like him but I love him; like I said before, he's a messy character! He's gone through a lot of shit and lashes out because of it! But he has a lot of complicated emotions and growth and loves his family despite how messed up the Hawke family dynamics are...I just really like him and it makes me sad when people write him off as "a whiny little brother"

I also really like Xoti, which seems to put me in the minority XD From what I can tell a lot of people don't like her crush on Eder? which, yeah, she's awkward and overbearing about it at first, but 1) if you tell her to chill out, she moves on from her crush and becomes good platonic friends with him and 2) the fandom thirsts over Eder even more than she does!

Plus I really love that she's weird and creepy! We deserve more weird characters! And her "bad ending" is a straight up horror story, what's not to love about that?

5. Has the fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?

Wh*terose (again * to stay out of tags). Don't get me wrong, still think that they're cute together and will reblog adorable art. But there was a loud subset a while back that got. . .really obsessed with RT "owing" the ship to them because B*mbleby being canon meant WR had to be canon and. . .yeah. . .

I can very much understand their frustration and understand most WR shippers aren't like that. But just. . .something about that left a bad taste in my mouth that still keeps me from enjoying it as much as I used to. :/

11. Is there an unpopular character that you like that the fandom doesn't? Why?

Lol, I feel a tad called out 😂

Shockingly, I'm gonns go with Raven. She. . .understandably gets a lot of flack from people because, yeah, she sure is one hell of a problematic bastard. But there's just. . .so MUCH to her character.

Like, guys. This is a woman who was raised by bandits with only her brother to rely on. Someone who came to hold familial connection above all else (to the point that she literally warps time and space to be near them) and keep others at bay. Who finally let her guard down, added more people into that family, got comfortable enough to start her own only to find out it was all a lie. Not the family, but that the driving force that brought them together had manipulated them all. The woman who blames HERSELF for not seeing this coming and leaves her family as punishment to try and fix things. All while being unable to resist watching them because she can't bear to let go of them. This is far from a one-dimensional bitch.

But, unfortunately that doesn't get much attention. Because she is, without a doubt, a certifiable dumpster fire of a parent. But she's my certifiable dumpster fire of a parent.

Ok so for Tangled there are two. I do not understand Cassarian. Like... it's a healthy teenage crush and people had to go make it all weird.

Also Cassunzel. Pike the entire show is clearly New Dream... so... like idk where people get this.... I dont like them and they kinda bother me if I'm being honest.

7. Is there anything you used to like but can’t stand now?*

I can't think of anything off the top of my head... I mean there are a few episodes that I like less and less the more I think about them but I'm still pretty new to the fandom so I cant promise something won't come up lol.

Yup, and I’ll do it again. I feel no guilt whatsoever about unfollowing people on here.

Stucky. They’re unfortunately popular.

Not in the MCU that I can think of, but it’s happened before. Fandom is really full of stupid people. You have to learn to disassociate from them.However I will say stucky fans really do not give me incentive to like the pairing at all.

6. Has fandom ever made you enjoy a pairing you previously hated?

Mmm I don’t think so.

7. Is there anything you used to like but can’t stand now?

Canon Steve Rogers. I really like him in certain fanfics, but canon has ruined him for me.

That people can’t stay in their own lane. If you love Tony Stark, don’t read fics that are tagged otherwise. If you love Steve Rogers, don’t read fics that are tagged otherwise. People need to accept that not every fic or piece of fanart is made for their personal consumption.

Lukanette. I just don’t understand the appeal.

Lukanette and Adrigami, and Mariadrigami. They’re all friends IMO.

Same answer as for the Avengers.

4. Do you have a NoTP in your fandom? Are they a popular OTP?*

Lila/Marinette! Or Lila/Adrien. It makes my skin crawl honestly. I’m not sure how popular it is because I avoid it entirely.

The salt towards Adrien, especially when it comes to Lila and Marinette and what people think he should have done. They totally fail to take into consideration so many things, including but not limited to Adrien’s past, Gabriel’s abuse, the fact that Adrien doesn’t have all the facts, and the fact that their classmates probably wouldn’t believe Adrien either. Furthermore, Adrien shouldn’t have to provide proof. They should fucking believe Marinette themselves.

I’m assuming this is for Miraculous.

So like...any ship that’s not canon. Adrinino, Alyanette, Lukadrien, Marigami...

I also am not a fan of Lukanette or Adrigami. But I can tolerate them, especially as temporary nudges towards the love square.

Super duper hate: Lilanette and Chloette. Why ship Marinette with people who are awful to her? Even if all problems were swept under the rug...just awful ideas.

Gabenath!!! Like??? Emilie Agreste is still alive!! Why would the writers push that?!?! I hate it!!

Within the love square, my least favorite corner is Marichat. Just because...I don’t see it? I don’t hate it by any stretch and I’ll still read Marichat fics but...it just seems less likely.
