isnt it based on that one early casting of pansy from like the 2nd movie. she had a bob cut and it stuck. also it's Chic(tm)

i just googled it up and omg you are right, apparently she had a bob cut in the prisoner of azkaban. whether this hc is based on it or not, i’m still glad it’s a Thing
