Wow, busy few days what with seeing my Mum and brother for the first time since September last year at a BBQ at our place (everyone is vaccinated hurrah!) and tidying the garden up for the big visit. Just when I was hoping to get back in the caravan studio for some full on creative time, today I’ll hopefully be getting Eva to the vet after she seems to have injured her back paw. She’s ok now she’s stopped licking it so much and we got a bandage on there that she hasn’t been able to tear off yet. But best get her checked out and get her fixed up properly after the long weekend. I was able to list yesterday a new creation I made from salvaged vintage vestiges with stunning antique coral stems that reminded me of Greek mythology and the story Medusa. Did you know that coral was thought to be made from the blood of Medusa flowing over seaweed and reeds and the Greek word for coral is 'Gorgeia', as Medusa was one of the three Gorgons.
