Shit. Okay.

I can’t even go into what happened at the Temples show, but imma try, ok. Okay.

Okay.

So, like we were sitting & waiting outside the venue just chillin, and some group of guys kept walking over & hitting on at least two of us at a time, but we tried to just laugh it off. (Gross.) Anyway, what’s-his-face [Temples’ roadie] recognised me from previous gigs & came over to us to chat. Which was cool. And then everyone went gaga over Fever The Ghost’s look as they rolled in, which was cool, too. But yeah.

The first opener was a local band that was pretty groovy, and then FTG who were absolutely WOW!!!! ! Like, they smashed the place. (Temples’ merch guy told me explicitly that they’d blow my mind & he was r i g h t.) I bought their ep, so we’ll see if they’re as explosive on record as in person.

Of course Temples were good. Lol.

After everything was over, we hung around & got to chat with all the lads & be stupid for a minute. Tom remembered me from the past Columbus shows, (he thought I lived there, bless his heart) and Adam just remembered me from everything, Idk. He was like, “…..hey..HeyYY!”. Haha. James was of course very charming…and Sam…I’m just. I’m just saying…100%. I walked outside & over heard him & a venue worker quote something from Are You Being Served? and I made a bee-line for him & said “…did you just quote Mr Humphries?????” and he was like, “Wow. Rude…….Just joking, haha.” But we started talking about good tv, and I said The Simpsons, Seinfeld & AYBS? were the Holy Trinity in my house, and looked over at me with a face like “…!!!” and immediately told me that seasons 2-9 Simpsons were the best. AS ONE SHOULD. LIKE!!!!! ! Jesus. Anyway, we talked with FTG’s bassist, while Adam & Tom came out & sat down & chatted with us again. We sat outside forever just hangin while they flitted back & forth. Adam came round with a couple of drinks in his hand & offered me one saying, “I just opened this, I swear, its okay…” So we chit chatted some more when this random guy starts coming over to us trying to tell jokes for a few bucks, and nice guy Adam is, gave him a few to just bugger off. But he hung around & leaned in to Adam & I trying to give me tips on how to score with him!! Adam & I looked at each other so confused & tried not to laugh. But then their merch guy (Ryan?) came over & sat with us & the guy eventually wandered away. Sam came back and the three of us (Ryan, Sam & I) started discussing which episodes of The Simpsons & Seinfeld were better & why & immediately started a conversation in nothing but different quotes. (LIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!) They went back inside at this point, while we sat trying to figure out a way home. Around then, more guys tried to pick us up. Of course, we very quickly shot them down. Cos, fuck. No. While we waited & waited…and waited for our cab (that never arrived after over an hour or more?) , the lads came out & saw us sitting by the doors & said something like “you’re still here!?” We told them the situation & they told us a better way of getting home & hung around with us all again as we waited for our ride. Ah.

So yeah. That’s all I can manage to talk about right now, cos, I’m just so exhausted & dumbfounded. I don’t know.
