The two sat quietly, watching the girls start up a game of chicken fight. Finally, Sam spoke up. “I hope you know that you can always talk to me. I might be your sister’s boyfriend, but I hope one today to be considered family.”

Rudy looked over at Sam. “Have you...?” he started to ask, but was cut off by Sam shaking his head.

“Not yet. I was waiting til after her birthday. I’ve talked to your dads though. They’ve given their blessing.”

“That’s... that’s great. I’m sure she’ll say yes.”

“I hope so.”

Y’all twisted my arm and here’s a little miniseries. Ok, ok… there wasn’t much twisting needed and I might have used this as an excuse to feed my poses addiction. Our cast of characters:

Peter (Poppy) Wilder

Clark (Clover) Greenwood

Brianna (Bray) Wilder

Rudy (Trudy) Wilder

Lexi (Lex) Wilder

Sam (Sage) Flex

Renee (Trey) Zest

The setting is during the kids teens years, shortly before Brianna and Sam are aging to young adults.

So Peter and Clark aren’t actually seen in any photos besides this one. They were just too cute not to show off. Clark was just like Clover. The very first notification I got in game was that he gained the dancing skill. 🥰

Here’s a couple others of these two cuties. I love my Wilder’s, but I get the feelings these two would have been just as fun to play with.

A couple of days later found the Wilder kids and friends down at The Bluffs.

“You don’t have to confirm or deny,” Sam commented after a couple of minutes. “If this is about a certain blonde, don’t sell yourself short. Just because the two of you seem so different doesn’t mean your lives can’t mesh. You have fun together, right?”

Subconsciously, Rudy nodded his head. Sam continued on, knowing that Rudy still needed a moment to process everything.  “Don’t let your own insecurities keep you from someone that could be the best thing in your life. Ignore the fact that she’s your sister’s best friend. Ignore all the high school bs saying that the geeky boy can’t win the popular girl’s heart. 

“Instead, cherish each other. Find ways to bring each other into your passions. Curl up on the couch with her and play some video games. Become her muse while she’s painting. Feel me?”

“I feel ya.” Rudy answered back. “Bri’s lucky to have you.”

“I’m surprised the girls could drag you out,” Sam said as he swam over to Rudy.

The other boy shrugged his shoulders before saying, “It was my dads. Part of the conditions in letting me enter that game tournament. Dad’s worried I’m missing out on life while playing games in my room.”

After a moment, Rudy ran his hand through his hair. “Can I ask you a question?”

“Does it have anything to do with what had you so deep in thought before I swam over?”

Rudy chuckled. “Yeah. Maybe. I don’t know.” 

“It’s all good,” Sam laughed when Rudy stopped rambling.
