Elsa slipped into the bathroom once she had finished dancing with a complete stranger, telling them quite forwardly that she needed to throw up. Except that wasn’t the only reason she went in there. She definitely needed to throw up, and she did so right when she got into an open stall. Once she finished, she let herself sink to the floor in a spot that was, thankfully, vomit-free. She was really feeling the effects of the alcohol now, which was definitely affecting a lot of her judgment, making her give less thought to what decisions she made.
If she had given it much thought at all, she wouldn’t have stolen her phone back from Mittens, and she wouldn’t have tried to make this call. However, she was drunk, so she did both of those things. Her subconscious was sent to the back-burner as she dialed the number, focusing on the other part of her, the drunk part, that was driving her forward. Elsa held the phone to her ear and leaned her head on the bathroom stall. It rang, and it rang and rang and rang and rang. There was no answer though, and she couldn’t help being disappointed. Still, the call went to voice-mail, and she decided that leaving a message would have to work just as well.
“Ssssaaaaaaaaaammmmmmyyyyyyy,” Elsa drew out his name, her drunkenness apparent in her voice. “Why didn’t you answer? I haven’t seen you. I want to see you. I-” She giggled. “Part of the reason I’m here was because you wouldn’t leave me alone. Well, not you you. The bad you. I mean you were there too, but I wouldn’t mind so much if you were the only one in my dreams as long as it wasn’t the bad you. . . .” She stopped talking as she heard the door open. Thinking that Mittens might get suspicious if she stayed in here too long, Elsa muttered a quick, “I’ll be back soon, love you.” before hanging up and leaving the bathroom.
Some time later in the night, Elsa went into the bathroom again, this time without the vomit. She went straight into the stall and dialed Sam’s number again. “Where did I leave off?”
“You were telling him about how you wouldn’t mind him being in your dreams if the bad him wasn’t there. Whatever the hell that means,” a stranger in the stall next to her answered the question for her.
“Right,” Elsa said. Not at all fazed that a stranger had been listening to her entire conversation over the phone, Elsa continued. “If Mittens’ plan works, I don’t think I’ll have to see the bad you again. He’s not here right now.” She grinned at the thought of her nightmare version of Sam never appearing again, but then she frowned as another thought occurred to her. “But you’re not here either. I want you here, Sammy. I told Mittens about the time that we made a bet about whether or not I was always right, and I told her what the stakes were and how you won. I remember how much you gloated about it because it was usually me who was always right. I think we need to find a different judge for that by the way. I don’t think that judge knew enough about us to know how possible and likely it is that I’m always right when I’m around you, and I don’t just mean that in what I’m saying being right. When I told Mittens that story, she said, “That sounds like you two. You were always dorks together.” And it’s true, Sam. We were, and I loved that you brought out that side of me. I didn’t even know I had that side until I met this dorky giant spray painting a wall that needed just a touch more black. I’d trade every day of my future just to go back to one of those days. I mean, I know that you said that what we were was just a dorky crush to you, but it was more than that to me. That bet we made was far from punishment for me, and I wish we could make another one like that to get all of it back, to get you back. I love you, Sam. Don’t ever forget that. I love you.”
“Mmmhmm. You tell him, sweetie,” said the stranger in the stall. With that, Elsa hung up and exited the bathroom, not calling Sam again over the rest of the night.
Charlotte missed her check in. She had a patrol, bright and early, and she wasn’t there. A Private rushes up to him in the early hours of the morning, waking him from his sleep. Daniel gets out of bed with heavy limbs and a scrambled head as he’s fed the information. Major Charlotte Powell did not show up for her patrol, and scouts have been sent out to scour the military sector.
Charlie is a lot of things, but negligent with her duties is never one of them. Daniel’s immediately worried. He doesn’t bother with ironing his greens as he throws them out, walking out to the quad where squads meet as quickly as possible. Captain Donovan is there, no doubt alerted about the news, and Daniel returns her salute when he walks up to her.
“Brigadier General, Captain,” someone salutes off to the side, and Daniel turns to look. Before he can even properly greet Sam the runners are reporting in. They all turn up the same information, Charlotte’s not there and no one knows where she is. It’s up to Daniel to make a decision, and he does, quickly and quietly.
“It’s time to stretch those wings, Captain. Assemble your old squad. We’re going outside of the wall.”
It’s time for a talk. Daniel crosses the floor to Donovan’s office easily. Not every junior officer has an office, but Daniel tries to get every squad leader a space of their own, even if they share it with someone else half of the time.
Daniel’s knuckles rap on the door and he waits there for Sam to respond. There’s enough ruffling behind the door that Daniel knows that someone is in there, and he doesn’t mind waiting. He is dropping by unannounced, after all, for reasons that Sam isn’t exactly privy to.
“Lieutenant Donovan, do you have a moment to spare?” Daniel asks, knowing that even if she doesn’t, she’ll give him the time because of who he is. She knows better than to turn her CO away.
What: Adam and Sam switch saddles, resulting in a rather important realization.
Adam rubbed his hands together excitedly as Sam pulled them into the lot beside the horse barn. This would only be their third week out here, but it already was starting to feel like a second home, and Adam was fairly sure that Sam felt the same way. "Oh, hey, idea? If you're amenable?" Adam asked cheerfully.
Sam Evans
Sam paused after he locked up his car and breathed in a deep inhale. A lot of people probably weren't too fond of the smell of a horse barn, but he loved it. It was home. "Hmm?" he hummed, looking over to Adam curiously. "Oh, yeah. What's that?"
Adam Crawford
"Let's switch!" Adam bounced excitedly. "Oh, I mean." He shook his head at himself. "Saddles. Let's switch saddles. As amusing as seeing me flail about in a western saddle probably is, I want to get in a proper English saddle this time. What do you say?" Adam grinned, full of energy.
Sam Evans
Sam's eyes widened at first, but then he just laughed. Adam's tendency to speak before he thought his words out could really be amusing sometimes. "Dude, you're not gonna hear any complaints about that from me," he agreed readily. "My ass could use the break."
Adam Crawford
"You just aren't doing it right!" Adam insisted with a laugh. "I'll show you. Hey, you know... maybe in future, we should switch off regularly. Or ride the same saddle per week, that way we can show each other based on our own posture?" Adam shrugged, waving it off. "Whatever, we'll sort it all later. Let's just find Julie and get our horses."
Sam Evans
"Sounds like a plan," Sam agreed. He loved riding more than anything; and right now, it was exactly what he needed. Nothing cleared his head more than being on the back of a horse with the wind against his face. He greeted the handler with his usual winning smile. "Getting myself a proper saddle today."
Adam Crawford
"He means a cushie, lazy one," Adam teased, nudging Sam with his shoulder. "I'd like to get one that actually lets me talk with my horse, please." He grinned.
Sam Evans
"I talk with my horse," Sam insisted, pointing a finger over at Adam. "And I do it with my words and my hands and legs and we understand each other just fine. Been doing it since I could walk, thank you very much." He grinned over at Adam and stepped into the stable, immediately reaching out to run his hand over one of the mare's strong necks.
Adam Crawford
"Who rides a horse with their hands," Adam scoffed, shaking his head at Sam, but his smile grew incrementally wider. "It's the seat. You sit back, deep in the saddle and just... it's an extension of yourself."
Sam Evans
"I didn't say I 'ride' her with my hands, I said I 'talk' to her with my hands," Sam repeated, rolling his eyes playfully. "Isn't that right, girl? And, fyi, Adam, I'd prefer you didn't talk to me with your ass, okay?"
Adam Crawford
"'Let me ass you a few questions!'" Adam snorted as he bent over and made a complete trainwreck attempt at a Jim Carry impersonation. "Actually, are we riding the same horses? Or do we need to switch that as well?" Adam asked much more seriously, straightening up.
"Normally, yes," Julie said, checking the tack of their respective mounts. "Most barns specialize one saddle or the other, but since we tend to get requests for both, all of our school-grade horses are trained for either one. Once you get to the higher level horses though, you won't be able to just switch back and forth like this," She explained patiently.
Sam Evans
Sam nodded along in understanding, still smiling as he rubbed down the horse's neck. "That's good, cause I love my girl here, yeah. She's such a sweet girl. You know what you're doing, huh? You'll take good care of me. And this time I'll know what I'm doing too. I bet we'll get along even better. Let's get you saddled up, yeah?"
Adam Crawford
Adam smiled softly over at Sam and accepted the fresh Saddle that Julie handed him from the tack room. Sam really was just that sweet and genuine. He and Blaine were a perfect fit together. "Ah. It's going to feel good to be able to ride without having to flop all over the place to do it."
Sam Evans
"Gonna feel good to relax against this pretty girl here too," Sam agreed. He started getting her ready, putting the padding in the right place and then a nice blanket over it before he got the saddle up there and started cinching her up. Not a worry on his mind when he was doing things like this.
Adam Crawford
Adam did the same, cooing as he brushed the flats of his knuckles over his gelding's muzzle. Fully tacked and bridled, they moved to the arena where their instructor was waiting, ready to get them started warming up. "Ready for this, Sam?" Adam called loftily, as he checked and tightened the girth one more time.
Sam Evans
"More ready than I've been the last two weeks," Sam called back, chuckling as he ran his hand up and down his mare's neck, giving her a gentle pat before he set her trotting. "Already feeling like I'm back home."
Adam Crawford
"Hey. Give me time to at least get on him," Adam laughed, watching Sam take off around the ring. Turning back, Adam checked the stirrup length against his arm, nodded and wasted no more time before swinging his leg over and settling into the saddle. His horse whickered at him, though didn't move. "Yeah, boy. I know, I'm actually here this time," He murmured, leaning forward to give the animal a quick pat as he tucked his feet into place, heels turned down.
Sam Evans
"Can't help it if I know how to mount," Sam laughed as he guided his horse back to Adam's side. "Ready now, Slowby? Why don't you take a circle around and show me how it's done?" He grinned as he trotted out into the middle, so he could get a good view.
Adam Crawford
Adam snorted, picking up his reigns with a shake of his head. "Alright, Samwise. Watch closely. This is how you post a trot." With a quick click of his teeth, Adam pushed with his seat and they were off to a gentle bouncing trot around the ring. "See?" Adam asked as he lifted easily on every alternating step. "Can't do this on that ridiculous mushy saddle." Adam laughed, sitting into the seat and riding the regular bounces easily. "And this is a proper sitting trot. Could actually get into a canter from here."
Sam Evans
Sam just laughed at Adam's teasing words. He paid attention though, honestly willing to learn. It could never hurt to get more in tune with his horses. His eyes ran down Adam's body, which wasn't all that bad to look at either, but then his heart starting beating a little faster when his gaze landed on Adam's leg. "Adam? Adam, come here," he called out, the smile turning into his usual look of confusion.
Adam Crawford
"Hm?" Adam asked, sitting back in his seat so the horse would slow to an easy walk as they made their way over to Sam. "Yeah? What's up?"
Sam Evans
"Come here," Sam said again, leaning down and reaching out for Adam's leg. He tried to do it gently, so he wouldn't spook the horse, but he needed to see something. "What's that thing? Did I have that thing last time?"
Adam Crawford
"What thing?" Adam asked, lifting his leg carefully. Their instructor, who'd long since accepted she was more a glorified babysitter with these two, came to hold Adam's mount steady as they examined the saddle, and Adam's position in it.
Sam Evans
"That metal... on the stirrup," Sam pointed out. He wasn't exactly in a position to look at his own leg without worrying his horse, so he tried to gauge where it landed on Adam's leg instead and go from memories.
Adam Crawford
"I... what?" Adam blinked, leaning over to look at his leg. "The buckle? All English saddles are like this. Much more versatile than the western one, in my opinion. You have the option for a much shorter or much longer stirrup. Western saddle's hindered by that big flap," Adam said, gesturing to Sam's saddle.
Sam Evans
"Yeah, yeah, British people are great and all that," Sam rambled, waving Adam off and concentrating on his own problem. "Versatile or not, it's also in the perfect position to leave a big, stupid bruise right on the inside of your calf and cause your life to flip upside down."
Adam Crawford
"Wait, you mean..." Adam sat back, throwing a hand over his mouth. "Oh, my god. I'm so sorry. I should have known. I didn't realize where it was. That's why English riding boots are so tall. Part of it, anyways. So, this simplifies things though, yes?" Adam asked excitedly. "You only have one bl-aine to worry about," Adam said, catching himself with a quick glance towards their instructor. He was out publicly, didn't mean Sam was.
Sam Evans
Sam sat back in his saddle and let out a soft sigh, staring ahead at nothing in particular. Sebastian was never even his potential and neither was any other mystery person. His mark, his real mark, was for Blaine and Blaine alone. "Blaine... God, Blaine. I'm such an idiot," he muttered, ignoring the look their instructor was giving them.
Adam Crawford
"Hey now, Samwise..." Adam nudged his horse a half-step closer, so he could lay his hand on the other man's shoulder. "You aren't. You're just human. It's natural to have questions. Hell, I have questions myself, and I'm the professed 'expert' in the area. You know now, yeah?"
Sam Evans
Sam lifted his head and looked over at Adam, as if he might have answers in his eyes somewhere. "I think I... I think I'm falling in love with him. And I let some... stupid stirrup bruise keep me away from that. I'm pretty sure that's on the dumb side of human."
Adam Crawford
"Sam..." Adam said softly. "It's not dumb. You didn't know. And this... all of this. It's big and important and you don't know what's going on until after it's happened... It's not your fault. None of this is your fault."
Sam Evans
"I still should've just trusted my heart," Sam insisted, shaking his head slightly at himself. "Sorry... bad time for epiphanies, I guess." He patted his horse again and glanced over at the woman who was still staring at them, giving her a little wave.
Adam Crawford
"Epiphanies happen when they happen. Even if that's sitting on a toilet on the roof of a hospital after talking to Michael J. Fox," Adam said seriously, barely holding back the grin. "It'll be alright. Really. Come on. Let's get riding, you can show me some of that barrel racing stuff you brag about, and maybe I can convince this nice young lady here to set up a jump for us?"
Sam Evans
Sam lifted his head with a raised eyebrow at first until the memory kicked in and he let himself laugh. "Are you an epiphany horse, Pretty Girl?" he asked with a smile. "Yeah, I don't jump, but have at it."
Adam Crawford
Adam wiggled happily in his saddle, causing his horse's ears to flip wildly, wondering what was going on. "You heard the man!" He grinned happily, continuing in a much more sensible tone, "If you could, that would be wonderful, thank you, My Dear. And while she does that, you want to get to warming up properly, Gamgee?"
Sam Evans
"That I can do." Sam still had some things to work out in his head, but he finally knew where his heart stood. Well, he knew before, but he was ready to admit to himself. Now he just had to admit to Blaine. But for now, he would ride.
A Long Conversation With Very Little Progress || CrawberrySyder
Tagged: Adam Crawford, Rachel Berry, Ryder Lynn, and Sam Evans
Location: Adam's apartment
Time: Morning; Saturday, July 5th
Notes: CrawberrySyder talks things out a bit, but don't make very much progress towards a decision.
Adam sipped his tea at the kitchen table. Rachel sat in front of him with a mug of her own. Both of them having woken up not too long ago, but neither had said more than two words to each other. Adam, at least, didn't want to risk breaking the tentative calm that had permeated the apartment since Rachel arrived, late last night. Not least ways before Sam and Ryder were awake as well.
Sam Evans
Sam muttered a little nonsense as he began to wake up. It took him a bit to remember where he was, when his eyes finally opened. Ryder was beside him, but this wasn't Ryder's room or his own. It came back to him quickly enough though, and he reached out to brush fingers through Ryder's hair. If Rachel and Adam weren't in the bed, they must be up; and if he was going to talk to them, he wanted Ryder there with him. "Ry?" He whispered softly, nuzzling against the other man's shoulder.
Ryder Lynn
Ryder’s eyes fluttered open and his lips turned upwards in a soft, sleepy smile. He tilted Sam’s chin up with the tips of his fingers, as he whispered, “Good morning, Sammy.” It came back to him too, all that had happened last night. The bed was empty, except for him and Sam; and in that moment, it was as if he knew what Sam was thinking. He gave Sam a quick Eskimo kiss. “We gotta get up, don’t we?”
Rachel Berry
From her spot at the kitchen table, Rachel heard noises from the bedroom, which had to be Sam and Ryder finally stirring. She had no idea how this conversation was going to go --last night had been relatively positive, but it had been charged with a different kind of energy than this morning. "I think Sam and Ryder are waking up," She murmured, indicating the door that she and Adam could both see from the kitchen table.
Adam Crawford
Adam nodded silently, looking away from Rachel's shuttered expression to see over his shoulder. Their boys --so beautiful in sleep-- were just as beautiful now, stretching and stumbling to their feet. Except they weren't 'theirs.' Nobody belonged to anybody, and that was sort of the problem. They needed to have this talk. As much as Adam hated to break the silence, he cleared his throat and called to them, "We're out here, there's tea and biscuits if you want."
Sam Evans
Sam nodded at Ryder and slid his fingers into the other man's. "We'll be okay," He whispered. "We'll do this together." He stumbled out of the bed, hand still clinging to Ryder's as they slowly made their way to the kitchen. "Does biscuits mean cookies?"
Ryder Lynn
Ryder stroked his thumb over the back of Sam’s hand as they stood in the kitchen. Awkwardly, he poured himself a mug of tea with one hand, not wanting to let go of Sam. “Sort of,” He answered Sam. “They’re like cookie-cracker hybrids, kind of? I dunk mine in my tea.” He cleared his throat, and addressed the other two sitting in the kitchen, “Good morning, everyone.”
Rachel Berry
"Morning," Rachel said. She didn't mean to sound so distant, but this whole situation was still so very up in the air, and she hadn't gotten as much sleep as she would have liked. Hopefully they could talk it all out and come to some kind of solution that would work well for all of them. "How did everyone sleep?"
Adam Crawford
"Well, thank you," Adam said, smiling softly at the way Ryder and Sam's hands tangled together. He was surprised at how well he'd slept too, considering the circumstances. The stress of last night, but once everyone was there, he'd just felt sleepy and safe between them all.
Ryder Lynn
The others hadn't been so fortunate though. “Okay, I guess,” Ryder said, trying hard not to lie through his teeth. He found a clear spot and hopped on top of the counter, sitting and sipping at his tea with his free hand. He felt warmth and familiarity flood through him when he took a long drink, and was almost completely comforted by it. However, there were still things to discuss, the things that had kept him up for most of the night, and that left a slight discomfort in him.
Sam Evans
Sam just shrugged, a little afraid of how his answer would be taken. He'd had trouble getting to sleep at first. He still felt so guilty about all this, like he'd been the one to send it spiraling out of control. The warmth of familiar bodies had lulled him to sleep eventually though. "I slept alright," He muttered. He stole one of the cookies with his free hand and nibbled at it uncertainly.
Rachel Berry
Rachel nodded, not quite believing everyone. She sort of wished that someone would at least say something to start the conversation, but given how they all fell at various points along the spectrum, she supposed that she would have to be the one to speak up. "Then... if we're all awake and rested, it would seem that we all have some things to talk about," She said, laying her hands on the table. She looked to each of the boys in turn. "Don't we?"
Adam Crawford
Adam nodded, smiling softly. "We do. And, before we start, I just want to say, I care about each of you, and I want what works for all of us as best as possible. I know this is new, but it feels right to me. However, if... you don't feel the same, I won't hold it against you if you'd rather we... didn't do this." Adam gestured between the four of them. "But for what it's worth, I want to try. I think I'd regret it if I didn't."
Sam Evans
Sam leaned back against the counter and looked over his shoulder at Ryder momentarily, trying to read his face. It usually said how he was feeling more than his words did. "Do you think we could talk about this, like... in the living room or something? I think it'd be good if we were all as comfortable as possible." He tugged on Ryder's hand gently and helped him down off the counter, trying not to make his tea spill everywhere. "I'd really... like to know how everyone feels. Honestly."
Ryder Lynn
Ryder followed Sam into the living room where --once they sat back down on the couch-- he resisted the urge to curl up against Sam’s side. He kept a comfortably appropriate distance between them, and noticed that everyone else had followed. “So,” Ryder said, voice clear and strong, once everyone had gotten comfortable. “How do we... how do we start this?”
Rachel Berry
Rachel looked from person to person. It was possible she was the lone dissenting voice in the group, but she wanted to be sure that Sam and Ryder weren't going along with Adam's suggestion simply because the didn't know what else to do. "Well, we have Adam's opinion on the matter already," She said, and turned her attention to Sam and Ryder, individually. "What do you two think? What do you honestly want, if you know? There are no right or wrong answers," She added quickly, already suspecting that they might both worry about pleasing Adam or Rachel.
Adam Crawford
Adam nodded agreement, turning on the couch to look towards the other two expectantly, trying to show comfort and support without judgment. Patiently awaiting whatever they wanted or needed to say.
Sam Evans
Sam took in a deep breath. He reached out for Ryder's hand again, unable to help himself. His heart was beating a million miles an hour, and he just needed an anchor, someone who understood what he was feeling. "I... there's honestly still so many things going on inside me right now. This isn't... something I ever expected. I was starting to wonder if I'd ever even find one person to care about me. I just... you're all so important to me, and I don't... I don't know...what to do," He admitted.
Ryder Lynn
Ryder squeezed Sam’s hand supportively, still desperately trying to resist the urge to reach across and kiss his cheek or whisper that things would be okay. He supposed that it was his turn, so he spoke. “I care about you all a lot,” Ryder said, voice strong but with the smallest waver in it. “I like to spend time and be with all of you. I don’t necessarily want to give up spending the time with anyone, but I- I don’t know what to do, either.” He paused, taking a deep, shaky breath. “I don’t want to lose anyone, basically. Every time I’ve been with each one of you, no matter how differently we spent that time, has meant... a lot. More than I think you may realize.”
Rachel Berry
"So... we'll just keep all dating each other?" Rachel asked, trying to keep her impatience under wraps. None of this was anyone's fault. Ordinarily any of them, individually, would be perfectly allowed to date several people at once, just to make sure that a relationship clicked before committing to it completely. It just so happened that they all wound up dating each other instead of complete strangers. She sighed; feeling like this was a total non-answer.
Adam Crawford
"Is that.... not what you want?" Adam asked carefully, looking to Rachel. "You're allowed to disagree. If... you don't want this, with all of us at once... It is different."
Sam Evans
There was a question running in Sam's brain, but he was far too scared to actually voice it. Still, he couldn't help but wonder. If Rachel didn't want them all, what did she want? Or rather, who did she want? He studied Rachel curiously and took a breath. "I... we wanna know how you feel, Rach. Really."
Rachel Berry
Rachel straightened her spine and looked to each of them. "I always thought that I'd have someone all to myself," She explained. "And I still want that. I don't- I don't like sharing. I don't mind if we're all... figuring things out, together, but eventually we're going to have to make a decision."
Adam Crawford
"Why?" Adam asked before he could stop himself. "I mean- why can't the decision be to have all of us? The feelings I have for Ryder or Sam do not lessen or change my feelings for you. I feel almost they make them stronger. Seeing them care for you- When I see you caring for each other, it makes me feel closer to each of you... Like instead of three relationships with each of you individually, I have one relationship with all of you together."
Sam Evans
Sam could feel the tension growing, and he scooted closer to Ryder without even realizing it. He slipped his arm through Ryder's and looked at him a little desperately. He didn't think Ryder had all the answers or anything, but he knew the man was feeling all the same things Sam was in that moment.
Ryder Lynn
Ryder set down his nearly empty mug and used his free hand to stroke Sam’s shoulder softly. He gave Sam quick look, letting him know that they were in the same boat. "I... I have a question," he said shakily, nervous to make anyone angry or say the wrong thing. "By make a decision, do you mean that if it plays out a certain way, we'll have to give each other up? I'm not- I don't know if that makes sense."
Rachel Berry
Rachel sighed, already worrying that she was starting to lose all of them. "I mean... don't either of you want to be claimed?" She asked. "Maybe not right away, but... eventually?" Of course it looked an awful lot like Sam and Ryder had already claimed each other, as impossible as that was. "And don't you want to claim someone for yourself?" She added, looking to Adam.
Adam Crawford
"Of course I do," Adam said easily. "And right now... I feel like I could claim both of them tomorrow. Rationally, I know that to be too soon, but a part of me doesn't care. A part of me wants us to embrace it and be reckless, but I don't want us to be alone. You're in this too, and I want you to be there. I want all of us to claim and be claimed," Adam said. The quiet passion in his voice underlined how strongly he felt about them together. The sincerity in Adam's tone conveyed the severity of his interest more than his words alone ever could.
Sam Evans
Sam listened to Adam intently and then looked back to Rachel. "Of course I want someone to claim me," He said in answer to her question. "I've been dreaming of that for a long time. But... who says there have to be rules? Why can't we decide how we want claiming to work? Why should I be kept from caring about Ryder because of these rules? I'm not saying you have to want things the same way, just... why can't we?"
Ryder Lynn
Ryder took in both of their answers as they came, and watched Rachel carefully as they were being said. “I want to be claimed, yeah, but I really don’t think that I want it right this minute. I’m not...I’m not ready yet. I know it’s stupid, or whatever, and I’m probably... whatever…” Ryder trailed off, sighing. He was trying to sound articulate, get his thoughts across perfectly, but they had reached a point where Ryder was basically winging everything he was saying and hoping it was making sense to the others. He looked at Rachel with sincerity. “I get that you don’t want to share. It doesn’t make you like, a bad person, just because your opinion is different. You’re obviously not the only person in the world that doesn’t want to share a sub.”
Rachel Berry
Rachel swallowed thickly and nodded. "In fact, I was under the impression that most doms didn't want to share," She said, quiet but still somewhat firm. Adam seemed to be the anomaly, as far as she was concerned. But it didn't mean that she fit in this arrangement --if she wanted something completely different-- and she hated that. She didn't want to leave any of them, either, but she knew that in the end they'd have to make a choice. "Maybe I should just leave now," She said, her voice a little smaller than usual. She hated losing, and it was clear to her that's what was happening here.
Adam Crawford
Adam swallowed thickly, reaching out before outright shifting off the couch to kneel at Rachel's feet where she sat. "No, Rachel, please. Just... give this a try? Try it? And... if you don't like it, you can go, I won't stop you, but... You never know if you don't try. If you stay, you'll have two subs. Two subs and me. All of us, together." Adam looked up at her, earnest, and just shy of pleading. "Just give it a try? Don't write it off without at least trying?"
Sam Evans
Sam's heart jumped into his throat at Rachel's words. She'd promised him he wouldn't lose her. She'd said those words to him. "Please," He said, echoing Adam's words. "Please, Miss. You said I wouldn't lose you. I... I don't want to."
Ryder Lynn
Ryder’s stomach dropped. Though he and Rachel were still just getting to know each other, the few times that they had spent together had been incredible and he had grown to think that he could be close to her, if time and circumstance allowed it. She was easy to talk to, and her passion inspired him to strive to find his place. He stayed silent, however, waiting for Rachel to speak.
Rachel Berry
Rachel didn't even know what to say. She wanted people who wanted her --and they certainly all qualified-- but this just didn't look like the situation that she had always imagined. It was Sam's words that really struck her, though; and she looked right to him, shoulders dropping slightly.
"That's right," She said. "I did say that. And I meant it." It was all so new --she barely knew Ryder at all, for example-- but it just felt so much like settling. And Rachel Berry didn't settle. "I just-" She started, and sighed as she sat down again. "This is so much to try to process. You all get that, right? Aren't you all... overwhelmed, too?"
Adam Crawford
Adam shook his head, still looking up at Rachel. "No, but... I care about you all, I just... want all of you. I don't see a point in thinking about it any further..." Adam shrugged. "But if you need time, we can give it to you. As much as you need." Adam glanced back at the others for confirmation.
Sam Evans
Sam took in a deep breath and squeezed Ryder's hand gently as he looked up into Rachel's eyes. "I am more overwhelmed than I can even begin to explain. I'm terrified of everything I'm feeling, and I'm terrified that someone's going to get hurt, and it's going to be my fault. And looking at you now, I'm even more scared that that's already happened."
Ryder Lynn
“I’m overwhelmed, yeah,” Ryder agreed, answering Rachel’s question. “I... I don’t want to upset anyone. I’m still a little scared that I’m going to slip up, and something I say is gonna mess everything up, I mean... more than it already is, I guess. But... what’s wrong with trial and error?”
Rachel Berry
It was actually somewhat comforting to Rachel to know that the other boys were just as confused and overwhelmed as she was. "None of it is going to be your fault," She assured them. "Neither of you." If anything, it might be hers, for being so unsure about all this. As a dom, she knew she should be the one making decisions and being certain about all of them. And yet this wasn't actually her decision.
Adam Crawford
"It's nobody's fault." Adam agreed, feeling slightly awkward that he was the only one who wasn't reeling with everything going on. But hopefully, in time the other ones would be able to feel as sure of this as he did. "I just know, if we give this a chance, everything will be okay." He reached out and clasped one of Rachel's in her lap, then turned back, inviting the others on the couch to join in. Together, they could do anything; he just knew they needed to stay together.
Sam Evans
Sam couldn't be as confident as Adam that everything would definitely be okay, but he wanted to believe it was possible. There was still this elephant in the room though. Rachel wanted her own submissive, and he knew she didn't know Ryder all that well, which certainly made him wonder. "Has anything happened...so far that's... upset you, Miss?"
Rachel Berry
Rachel shook her head. "No," She said, almost immediately. "I have nothing to be upset about, not when I don't actually have a claim on either of you yet. And neither does Adam," She added, but maybe it didn't matter.
Adam Crawford
"And if or when that happens..." Adam said carefully, "We'll talk things out, we'll take our time; and just remember, we all care for one another. No one is trying to take anything away from anyone else." Adam's body language still turned towards the other two, open and welcoming, should they feel comfortable with joining him and Rachel.
Sam Evans
"Yeah, I mean..." Sam paused, making sure the words were right in his head before they came spilling out. "Like Ryder said earlier, he's not really ready to be claimed just yet. And... as much as I really want that in my life, I can't say that I'm really at that point yet either. So, would it really hurt to just... give each other a shot? At the very least until we think we are ready for that. Then we can... talk about it again."
Ryder Lynn
Ryder nodded at Sam’s words, giving his hand another squeeze before reaching out with his free hand to run it through Adam’s hair in a smooth, soft stroke. “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with trying,” He said. “I told Sam this before, and I’ll tell it to you guys. When I want to be claimed, whenever that time comes, I’ll discuss it with everyone.” Ryder stroked his thumb over Sam’s knuckles and leaned his head on Sam’s shoulder. He felt at ease now, more comfortable now that everything had been laid out on the table. He felt like things could start falling into place.
Rachel Berry
Rachel let out a long, low breath. She was awfully good at rushing into things; maybe this was just another one of those instances. But she really didn't want it to turn out badly --not for any of them, but least of all herself. She still couldn't shake the feeling that if Sam hadn't also met Ryder and Adam, she'd have so much more of a chance for him to be hers alone. "I guess I don't really have much of a choice," She said.
Adam Crawford
Adam looked at Rachel longingly, wishing he could fix it. She was special to him, for so many reasons. He felt helpless; it wasn't a sensation he liked. Determined, he stood up, holding onto Rachel's hand. "Well, if we're in agreement. I think it's high time we all went back to bed."
Sam Evans
Sam's eyebrows raised curiously as he looked up at Adam. "Back to bed? All... all of us?" He cleared his throat and gave Ryder's hand one last squeeze before he stood up as well. "Would you... would it be okay if I spoke to Rachel alone for a moment, Sir?"
Ryder Lynn
Ryder stood up along as well, looking between the three of them. At Adam's brief nod to Sam, Ryder took the liberty of taking Adam’s hand. “Back to bed,” he said with a soft smile, leading them with barely enough confidence to be convincing.
Adam Crawford
With a plantive look over his shoulder, Adam ushered them away to the bedroom. His hands were on Ryder's shoulders and already pulling him into a hug as they disappeared through the doorway.
Rachel Berry
Rachel watched Ryder and Adam leave, then focused her eyes on Sam, blinking in confusion at him. "What do you want to talk about?" She asked, more quietly, so they wouldn't be overheard.
Sam Evans
Sam came over and mimicked Adam's earlier position, kneeling on the floor in front of Rachel. "I don't... want to assume anything, but I just wanted to ask. From everything you said and just... I feel like perhaps you'd like... to have me, Miss? Just me?"
Rachel Berry
Rachel sighed and closed her eyes for a moment, trying to gather her thoughts. She was supposed to be the one making the demands, or at least the requests, if everything went the way that it was supposed to. But of course, things weren't the way they were supposed to be; she was learning that fairly quickly. "I had hoped that maybe you and I would... have more time together. Alone. Yes."
Sam Evans
Sam nodded slowly as he looked up at her. He hated to see her so sad, so confused. "I'd like that too. More time. I'd like to... to talk to you more. About how I feel. In private. If you don't mind, Miss. Maybe... we could lay with them for a little while? And then we could... could go somewhere just the two of us later?"
Rachel Berry
"I'd like that," Rachel said quietly, nodding, though her smile was still thin and almost nonexistent. Maybe she did need more sleep. She reached down to take Sam's hand. "I'm sorry I'm such a mess about all of this, it's just- really not what I thought things would be like."
Sam Evans
"I understand that. Believe me," Sam agreed, nodding along. "This certainly... I never thought I'd be dealing with anything like this. I just want you to know... I'll do anything I can not to lose you, Miss. It's the last thing I want. And I'm always here, if you need to talk about anything you're feeling."
Rachel Berry
Rachel did manage a smile then, and nodded slowly. "Thank you, Sam," She said. She already felt a little better, knowing that he at least was willing to listen to her one-on-one. She stood, and took Sam's hand to help him up to his feet, too.
Adam Crawford
As Sam and Rachel approached the bedroom, it became clear they hadn't been the only ones using the alone time as an opportunity to become closer. Sprawled across the bed, Adam had managed to wrap himself tightly around Ryder, the two of them necking incessantly. Long, slow kisses that involved more than just lips and tongue. There wasn't anything overtly sexual in their actions, but there was a definite intimacy all the same.
Ryder Lynn
Ryder his lips away from Adam’s, smiling softly. “I think we might want to stop now, unless they’re gonna join in on this,” He teased quietly with a smile. He kept Adam close, however, and found a comfortable place to rest his head in the crook of Adam’s neck. He took deep breaths, feeling so safe to be held onto like this.
Sam Evans
Sam smiled at the sight in the bedroom, mostly glad to see Ryder as relaxed as he was. He knew how much Ryder needed the touch. He brought Rachel's hand up to his lips and pressed a kiss to her fingers before he led her over to the bed and opened his arms. "May I hold you, Miss?"
Rachel Berry
"You may," Rachel said, her smile small and soft. There wasn't a lot of room on the bed, but she could still find a corner where they could lie down together. For now, she stepped in closer to Sam, and let him wind arms around her.
Adam Crawford
Adam wasn't having that. He didn't want 'them' and 'us.' He wanted one great big 'we' of the four of them together as one. "Come on, you don't have to lie way down there. Join us. Properly," Adam insisted, opening the arm Ryder wasn't lying half on top of in blatant invitation.
Sam Evans
Sam looked up at Rachel and then back at the two other men. He tightened his arms around Rachel's waist and lifted her up just enough to bring her into the pile, careful not to actually land on anybody. Rachel did land on top of him somewhat, but he didn't really mind. "I just... I want you all to be happy."
Ryder Lynn
Ryder bit his lip and smiled softly at the way everyone was situated. “I’m happy,” He said with confidence. He reached over Rachel and touched Sam’s wrist gently. “I promise.” Ryder looked at Rachel and cleared his throat. “And, Rach- I... I know we don’t know each other very well yet,” he said, voice starting to waver again. He tried to fight off the nervousness. “But you know that I care about you, and I would really love for you to be happy, if I can help it in any way.”
Rachel Berry
Rachel looked over at Ryder, then. It was still a little overwhelming, being in the bed with everyone; but if they all went slowly, maybe it wouldn't be so intimidating. "Thank you, Ryder," She said calmly. "I'll be alright, I promise." Whether it was a matter of getting used to this, or things changing more in her favor... it couldn't stay this awkward forever.

Location: Sky Lounge
Time: Late evening; Wednesday, June 25th
Notes: Rachel and Adam, having been rebuffed by Sam, decide to salvage their night by heading to Sky Lounge, where they run into none other than Sam himself.
Adam stepped up through the ornate foyer of The Sky Lounge, scanning the room appreciatively. There was something about coming during the week that he always liked. People were more 'prepared' on the weekends, which held a certain appeal; but during the week, people had different priorities. The look and feel of the place was less polished, more real to him.
Rachel Berry
Rachel looked around the Lounge, eyes wide with joy and approval. The club looked beautiful, and so did the people enjoying themselves there --but not in the cheap way that a lot of other clubs around the city were. Something about it felt terribly genuine, and knowing that it was dedicated to a certain type of clientele --a type that she herself fit into-- made it feel a little more like she really belonged. Almost like stepping into a theatre. "This looks wonderful!" She gushed, holding onto Adam's arm as they stepped inside together. "How many times have you been here?"
Sam Evans
Sam sat at the bar, nursing a beer. Thank god they let him use his ID here, because he really felt like he needed it. He had chatted with a few people since he got here, but nothing had stuck yet. He just wanted a night of belonging to someone, of being cared for and attended to and attending to someone else just the same. He'd completely embarrassed himself trying to get that idea across to Adam, so he'd come here instead.
Adam Crawford
"I try to make it down here at least a couple times a month. Although, lately I've been coming more often. It's a wonderful, safe place." Adam answered her, holding Rachel's hand in the crook of his elbow like a proper gentleman. "Come on. Let's head inside, see if we can't find ourselves a pair of lovely people to keep us company for tonight."
Rachel Berry
Rachel blinked in surprise, but understanding crossed her features and a smile followed. It was... thrilling, to say the least, knowing that she could come here --not just to look around-- but also to satisfy herself. And someone else. Eagerly, she followed Adam inside the lounge, and scanned the place: the dance floor, the bar, all the tables and booths tucked into corners. Some people had already found their 'dates' for the night, while others were seated alone or in groups. She didn't even really know where to begin, but she was sure that, once she learned the figurative ropes, she might be able to use the literal ones. "I don't even know where to start," Rachel admitted. "Maybe the bar? Though you know it better than I do."
Sam Evans
Sam stared down at his bottle, turning it on the bar and watching the little circle of condensation that had formed. God, he was pathetic. He was never going to find anybody like this. He took a breath and went to stand up. The moment he scanned the room though, his eyes fell on two familiar faces and immediately widened to twice their size. "Oh shit," He muttered before plopping back down on his stool and turning away again. This was not actually happening.
Adam Crawford
"The bar sounds like a lovely place to st- oh my god..." Adam said, hand flying to his mouth. "Well... Look who it is... I suppose silly cartoon programming would be quite unappealing if this is what you're really after," Adam laughed, leading the pair of them towards the bar, and Sam.
Rachel Berry
Rachel's eyes widened, and she approached the bar at a clip just a half-step faster than Adam. The people she was meeting were so full of surprises. "So, this is the thing that you had?" She asked, almost too amused to be upset or anything.
Sam Evans
Sam groaned when he realized he'd been seen, running a hand over his face. "This may be the most embarrassing day of my life," He decided out loud. "Yes, okay? This was the thing I had. I was just feeling shitty about myself and- I'm sorry I bailed on you both."
Adam Crawford
"Hey, no, don't apologize," Adam soothed, reaching out a hand to Sam. "I can see why my invitation would fall flat when you're looking for something a bit more... adventurous..." Adam chuckled.
Rachel Berry
Rachel offered a soft smile, too; though she didn't miss the way that Adam touched Sam. "I didn't realize you two knew each other already," She said, already starting to put together some scenarios in her head. If she played her cards right, this night could end very well for all of them.
Sam Evans
Sam's cheeks flushed even darker, if such a thing were possible. "Um... yeah. We've... hung out a couple times," He said, glancing over at Adam and chuckling softly. He took another drag from his bottle before chewing on his lip nervously.
Adam Crawford
"That's one word for it." Adam laughed, leering slightly at Sam's gorgeous mouth. "So, Sam. Now that we're all here... Might we trouble you for a bit of your time?"
Rachel Berry
Rachel looked between Adam and Sam, surmising that they definitely had done more than just 'hang out' before. And, she wondered whether maybe she was on the wrong track with not just one, but both of them --not necessarily because they wouldn't be attracted to her, but because they might have already found each other, leaving her to fend for herself. "I'm sure we could help you with whatever you expected to get out of tonight," She added anyway, lifting her chin and throwing her shoulders back, to show off a little bit.
Sam Evans
Sam looked up with slight surprise. He'd thought Adam might be interested, which is why he went to him in the first place, but he'd totally screwed that up. This was definitely a new idea though. "S-seriously?"
Adam Crawford
"Very serious, Pet." Adam hummed, with an inviting turn of his head. "Come along. Rachel and I will take very good care of you. Won't we, Rachel?"
Rachel Berry
Rachel hadn't expected that the night might go like this when she set out tonight --she thought maybe she'd just look around and maybe chat someone up, leaving them wanting more-- but she really did genuinely like Sam, and finding him here was just incredible luck. "We will," She said, reaching out to touch Sam's arm gently, assuring him that everything would be fine.
Sam Evans
Sam sucked in a breath at Adam's little name and Rachel's touch alike. This was what he'd been needing after all, and it would only be better with people he actually knew and liked. He licked his lips slowly and lifted his head to reveal darkening eyes, nodding at each of them in turn. "O--okay. I'd like that."
Adam Crawford
It took far more effort than Adam cared to admit to resist the urge to growl in appreciation. "Just tell us, would you like to sit out here, at one of the lounges and chat for a bit? Or would you prefer to get straight to it?" There was still a deep rumble to his voice when he spoke.
Rachel Berry
"Either one is fine with us," Rachel insisted, still stroking Sam's arm gently. Now that she knew he was one of them --albeit on the other side, which made it all the better-- she didn't feel bad about letting her natural tendencies take over. "I promise, you won't upset us."
Sam Evans
Sam smiled at them both. They had fairly different personalities really; but when he looked into both their eyes, he still saw what he needed to see. "I think I've talked to both of you plenty before," He said quietly. "And... honestly, I was looking to do less talking tonight."
Adam Crawford
A salacious grin crossed Adam's lips. "I think we can find something besides talking for your mouth to do," He said, cutting a path through the droves of people, back to the front of the building and the private rooms. They found a free one quickly, Wednesdays were never much trouble, and ushered them all inside.
Rachel Berry
Rachel's heart was beating a little faster with the promise of sex -- in one form or another-- on the horizon, especially when there were two other people involved. That much was going to be new to her, but she really had no complaints about that. She stepped out of her heels and hung her purse on a hook --which, when she thought about it, probably wasn't for purses-- then looked to her companions with a smile of her own. "What should we have him do?" She asked, grinning over at Adam. "Any ideas? I'd love to see him put those lips to use."
Sam Evans
Sam stood there quietly, watching them both expectantly. He could barely believe that this was his second time having something happen here and both times had been with two people. Two other people. He really hoped these two didn't become a couple and blow him off a few days later. He swallowed and tried to push those thoughts from his head though. He didn't want to think right now.
Adam Crawford
"I have a few... but I've had him use those lips before, perhaps you'd like a go? He's very talented with them. Or he was on Saturday. Weren't you?" Adam hummed, reaching out to pet strong fingers through Sam's thick, blond hair. So soft and just long enough to get a good hand-hold without tugging too hard at the scalp.
Rachel Berry
Something flared in Rachel's heart when she heard that Sam had been intimate with Adam already, but she tried to put it out of her mind --she had no claim to him, and it didn't seem like Adam did, either. This could still go any way, really. For now, she sauntered over to the bed and laid down, eyes focused on Sam. "Come here," She commanded, beckoning for him to approach.
Sam Evans
Sam was leaning into Adam's touch appreciatively, his eyes slipped closed. He nodded gently in reply to his question. His eyes opened once again at Rachel's words, and he followed obediently, climbing into the bed beside her and sitting on his knees.
Adam Crawford
Adam joined them, kneeling behind Sam and placing both hands possessively over Sam's hips as he mouthed gently up his shoulder and across his neck. "You're beautiful, you know. If ever you want this from me, all you have to do is ask," Adam promised.
Rachel Berry
Rachel reached up to tug at Sam's shirt collar, pulling him in a little closer, so she could kiss his lips --steady and open-mouthed-- with just a little more force than the kisses they'd already shared. One hand glided down Sam's chest and a little lower, curling fingers in the waistband of his pants. She didn't want to detract from whatever Adam had planned, but there were certain things she wanted for herself, too, and intended to get. "He's right," She added quietly, but firmly. "You can have this anytime. Especially now that I know... what you want."
Sam Evans
Sam's eyelashes fluttered against his cheeks, his heart pounding faster at each and every touch. His last encounter had certainly not been like this. God, it was exactly what he needed. He gave Rachel a soft smile and nodded in understanding. "Th-- thank you," He breathed out.
Adam Crawford
"I don't know about you two," Adam growled, hovering close to Sam's back. Just close enough to give the impression of his hardening cock, but not quite close enough for Sam to actually feel them press together. "But, I --for one-- am feeling decidedly over dressed."
Rachel Berry
"God, yes," Rachel said. Her shoes were already off, but there was a lot more to be removed before they got any further --namely, her dress. She rose up, kneeling on the bed, and turned her back to Sam. "Unzip me," She told him, looking over her shoulder to watch his face as he did.
Sam Evans
Sam licked his lips again and brought his fingers up to Rachel's zipper, trying to keep them from shaking too much. He'd embarrassed himself enough tonight. He was going to do this right. He took in a deep breath as he pulled the zipper down slowly, his breath sucking in at the black lace that was revealed with each passing inch.
Adam Crawford
"Slip it down her shoulders, but be careful of her hair," Adam purred, his hands moving up Sam's sides then back down. Warm, dry hands with roughened fingers stroking firmly over his skin. "Show her how beautiful you think she is."
Rachel Berry
Rachel swept her hair over one shoulder, leaving her neck exposed for Sam to kiss. "You do think so, don't you?" She asked, an easy smile in her voice.
Sam Evans
Sam nodded eagerly. "Oh yes," He agreed without hesitation, complete sincerity in his voice. "You're... you're stunning Ra... um..." He wasn't really sure what he was supposed to call her right now, but he did as he was told, smoothing guitar callused fingers over her incredibly soft shoulders and guiding the dress down and off. "You're stunning."
Adam Crawford
This time, when Adam smoothed his palms up Sam's back, he took the shirt edge up too, pulling the fabric up and over Sam's shoulders. "You can just call me whatever comes naturally," Adam offered, already realizing what Sam was hesitating about.
Rachel Berry
"And Rachel is fine," She assured Sam, chuckling softly. "Or 'Miss,'" She added thoughtfully, suspecting that Sam might want to use something a little more formal in this particular setting. "Never 'ma'am,' though. I'm not forty." With another laugh, she guided the dress the rest of the way off herself; then laid back down, with her legs parted and bent at the knee, one on either side of Sam.
Sam Evans
Sam actually let out a laugh at that too, shaking his head. "I wasn't gonna call you ma'am," he assured her, though his smile became a look of pure awe when she was laid out before him. "You really are beautiful... Miss." Yeah, that sounded kind of nice.
Adam Crawford
"In that case, perhaps you should call me 'Sir,'" Adam added, both hands going to Sam's rounded ass, turned up at the perfect height for him to rub and grind against. So, he did, while he made short work stripping his own shirt, dropping it quickly to the floor beside the bed.
Rachel Berry
Rachel actually loved the way that sounded, her smile brightening as she looked up at Sam, and at Adam behind him. This really was perfect; they could lavish their attentions on him at the same time --give him exactly what he needed-- while he did the same for them. She pursed her lips together, just a little nervous, but determined to push forward, as she reached behind her back and unclasped her own bra; guys had always had trouble with it, so she figured she'd save Sam the trouble, at least for tonight. She had a feeling that he'd soon learn how to remove it with one hand. "I think I'd like to see what you can do with those beautiful lips," She told Sam, as she slid black straps over her shoulders. "You have my permission to put them anywhere you like. On me," She added, in case he got any ideas about turning around.
Sam Evans
Sam's lips turned up in a slightly smirk, but he kept it hidden from Adam. He licked his lips slowly again, mostly for Rachel's benefit, both so she could enjoy watching it and so he didn't kiss her with dry lips. "Yes, Miss," he said again quietly. He reached back and ran a gentle hand down Adam's thigh though, just to give him some of his own attention, before leaning forward and pressing his lips just between Rachel's breasts.
Adam Crawford
Adam licked his own lips, as he watched Sam lavish attention on Rachel. Even if he wasn't attracted to her directly, he could appreciate seeing the both of them enjoying themselves. "Do you like that, Pet?" Adam asked, his palms smoothing around Sam's waist to the front of his pants where he gently squeezed at the hot length through Sam's slacks. "Do you like feeling her soft skin against your lips? She has such beautiful breasts, doesn't she?"
Rachel Berry
Rachel arched her back and slid one hand back into Sam's hair, not forcing anything necessarily, but gently guiding him more to one side than the other. "You're good," She encouraged. "Your lips feel just as nice as I imagined they would. Now... give me a little more."
Sam Evans
Sam hummed happily and moved with Rachel's hand. "So soft," He murmured in reply to Adam as his mouth moved over the supple flesh. He closed his lips around her nipple and laved his tongue over it with gentle attention. He moaned and pressed his hips forward to try to get some more friction from Adam's hand, to really feel it.
Adam Crawford
"They are," Adam purred, keeping his hand away, so he could tease Sam gently; though he ground his own hips firmly to Sam's back. "Cup her other one, lift it. Feel the weight of it. She's so beautiful. You want to worship her, don't you?"
Rachel Berry
Rachel let out a soft sigh, one that she tried to keep from being too embarrassing of a moan, but Sam did know what he was doing --it had been a long time since she'd been touched like this, worshiped so lovingly. "Like that," She confirmed, humming softly. She ran her hands up Sam's sides, manicured nails dragging lightly over tanned skin. "Oh, Sam--"
Sam Evans
Sam was only spurred on by both of them, all of his needs being fulfilled in these moments. He followed Adam's words and brought his other hand up, fingers brushing softly over Rachel's other breast before he held it a little more firmly. "Anything you want, Miss. Anything," He breathed out between pressing kisses to her skin. He gave his ass a slight wiggle too, just to make sure to give Adam some attention.
Adam Crawford
Adam chuckled, giving Sam's ass a playful swat. "You're an eager one. It's charming, really. Come on, let's get you naked, so we can see you a little better."
Rachel Berry
Rachel laughed and eased her grip on Sam's hair, reaching down between their bodies-- so she could help undo his fly-- and tugged at his waistband, just to get it started. She really wanted to watch, though, which was odd in and of itself. "Take his pants off," She told Adam. "I- I want to see what he looks like nude." She licked her lips in anticipation, humming softly with desire. Even if Adam was also a dom, she couldn't help her nature, really.
Sam Evans
Sam smiled to himself, kind of enjoying watching the two of them go back and forth. It was even more fun for him. He turned himself slightly --so he could take the weight off his knees-- and laid his head back against Rachel's breast as his lifted his hips, so Adam could pull his jeans off. They could look at him all they liked.
Adam Crawford
"Of course, Miss," Adam said with a cheeky grin. Roughly tugging Sam's clothes off, Adam leaned down and bit sharply at one pert cheek. "You have such a lovely arse, Pet. Has anyone told you that?" Adam rubbed a gentle palm over the small mark, soothing as he quickly shed his own pants. No sense dawdling.
Rachel Berry
Heat rose in Rachel's cheeks, more from slight embarrassment at the way she commanded Adam, too --seeing the boys shed their clothes had nothing to do with it, especially when she was in as much of a state, herself. She turned her head and caught Sam's lips again, channeling her desires into the kiss, making it just a little rougher than she usually might, a little heavier and more passionate. "Touch me," She breathed, parting her legs a little more and guiding Sam's hand lower on her body.
Sam Evans
Sam moaned softly at the words and slid his fingers beneath the soft lace and into the heat there. Now that he was fully naked, he twisted back to put his ass on display again for Adam. "You're both... amazing. Thank you," he whispered, smiling down at Rachel before he glanced over his shoulder at well.
Adam Crawford
"Speak for yourself, Pet. You're gorgeous," Adam said, both hands squeezing tightly at Sam's display for him. He licked his lips. "Absolutely, bloody gorgeous..." He said absently, head bobbing up. "Rachel, would you mind tossing me the lube? There should be some in the drawer beside you there."
Rachel Berry
A moan escaped Rachel's lips when Sam finally touched her, and she barely heard Adam's question, but she frowned when she finally did parse it. Maybe she deserved it though, since she'd asked Adam for a favor too, so she turned and rummaged through the drawer until she found the bottle and tossed it to Adam. Hopefully that would be all he needed from her, at least for the moment. "Sam," she murmured, and guided his head down further. "Sam, please. Show me how good you are."
Sam Evans
Sam licked his lips slowly once again and looked up at Rachel with dark eyes. He was a little curious about what Adam was going to do back there, but he trusted him, which was saying a lot for Adam. "May... may I take these off, Miss?" he asked gently, his fingertips sliding along the waistband of her panties.
Adam Crawford
Adam smiled at that, loving that their sub was asking permission before doing things. Even though he'd get what he wanted --eventually-- he was seeking their guidance first. And, Sam was theirs, for tonight at least. Adam slicked the length of his cock quickly, before adding another dollop to his palm and reaching between Sam's legs and spreading the slick liberally over the muscled stretch of Sam's inner thighs.
Rachel Berry
"You may," Rachel said, smiling sweetly at Sam. He really was a good boy, asking for permission and everything; that he asked gave her a little thrill --almost as much as the kind she got when he touched her.
Sam Evans
Sam smiled as a thrill ran down his spine. He could barely take in everything that was happening all at once. He slid the lace easily down Rachel's soft, tanned thighs, lifting her legs just enough to get the panties all the way off. He set them off to the side sweetly and took a breath before he started laying kisses to the inside of her thighs.
Adam Crawford
"Isn't he beautiful?" Adam asked Rachel as he sat back to admire the man between them. "Pet, would you bring your legs together? Tight, very tightly, for me?"
Rachel Berry
"So beautiful," Rachel agreed, gasping with each touch of Sam's incredible lips. She carded slim fingers through his hair, just petting him, almost in accordance with the name that Adam had given him. "He's- he's such a good boy." She laughed softly, pleased that she was in an environment where she could actually say so. "Aren't you, Sam?"
Sam Evans
Sam nodded against Rachel's leg as he tried to position himself. He wanted to give Adam what he was asking for, but he didn't want to fall over while he was pleasuring Rachel either. That would be awkward. He used strong arms to lever himself up in the right position, before bringing his legs together as closely as he could and holding the muscle of his thighs together. "Is this good, Sir?" He asked, looking over his shoulder once again.
Adam Crawford
"Very, very good," Adam growled. "Very good boy, Sam." Adam said as he wriggled his fingers into the lubed space between Sam's thighs. The corded muscle tight, but with just enough give for Adam to line his cock up and press between them. "Oh-" Adam gasped, his hips stuttering forward. "Yes, Sam. So good for me- for us," He corrected himself, moving slowly forward. "Go on now. Touch her; make her feel just as good as you have me."
Rachel Berry
Rachel's breath was already heavy on her lips, and her whole body felt like it was sparking with need. With desire. She watched the way Sam's head moved between her legs, hummed a little louder when he pressed kisses to her thighs, and closer, higher, nearer to her heat with his incredible lips. "I need you, Sam. Please."
Sam Evans
It felt so incredibly to hear, to truly be needed. And it was real, it was sincere. Sam could hear it in Rachel's voice and all he could think about was giving her what she needed. He wanted to give them both what they needed. He kept guiding his lips over until he reached her center and pressed his tongue to her, flat and heavy, taking in her taste.
Adam Crawford
Adam moaned, shivering at the look of bliss on Rachel's face. "He is... gifted isn't he, Rachel?" Adam asked, rocking his hips forward and back, a pale flush blooming across his chest as he watched them, fucking Sam's thighs as he did.
Rachel Berry
Rachel gasped loudly, a soft whine in the moan that left her lips. She closed her eyes to just feel Sam's mouth on her; his tongue pressed into her to give her exactly what she needed. Already, she could tell that Sam would treat her right and enjoy doing it, that he wanted only to please her. And Adam. Although, with Sam's mouth on her, she was barely cognizant of the other man in the room; everything was reduced to the pleasure that he was giving her, the moans on her lips, the way her whole body was even more sensitive to every sensation.
Sam Evans
Sam closed his eyes and got lost in the noises coming from both Adam and Rachel. Noises he was causing. He moved his tongue slowly up her center until he was pressing firmly against her clit. God, they both sounded so good.
Adam Crawford
"Alright then," Adam laughed, giving Sam's ass another playful slap. He shifted closer and picked up speed, pumping his cock faster and faster. He leaned forward and pressed Sam's cock gently up against his own abs. "So heavy and full.... do you like this? Do you like knowing how good we feel? Do you want to feel good too, Pet?"
Rachel Berry
Rachel's moans turned sharp, and her eyes opened wider as she looked down at Sam, breathing harder. "Yes," She gasped. "Yes, Sam, right- just like that." Her fingers curled tighter in his hair, more encouraging, as his name and praise both fell from her lips. "Such a good boy, Sam- Sam, please--"
Sam Evans
Sam moaned right against Rachel's center, his hips stuttering forward slightly. He lifted his head just enough to let out a, "Please, Sir! Please!" before his mouth returned to Rachel's clit. He closed his lips over it, tongue still teasing her in every way he knew how.
Adam Crawford
"Yes!" Adam moaned, cock jumping as he thrust, pushing Sam forward with his hips. "Oh, you are such a good boy you are, Pet. Go on, now. Make her come. Once you make her come, then you may come, but not before." Adam purred out, hand wrapping purposefully around Sam's shaft and beginning to stroke a rapid pulse up and down.
Rachel Berry
Rachel was already close, though, her body shifting and writhing under Sam's ministrations, trying to get him at just the right angle, but he was already so, so good on his own, without any further help. She really lucked out finding him tonight. "Sam, Sam!" she called out, her voice pitching even higher as the pleasure built inside of her, threatening to break with every moan that passed her lips. She was so, so incredibly close, with the waves already starting to wash over her.
Sam Evans
Sam whined softly, the touch of Adam's hand driving him a bit mad, but in the most delicious way. He wanted to bring Rachel that pleasure so badly though, and the sound of his name on her lips only made him try even harder. He sucked at her gently, his tongue moving in slow, perfect circles around her most sensitive area.
Adam Crawford
"She's so beautiful, so wet and so hot." Adam growled, rocking his hips in time with his hand on Sam's cock, keeping himself close to that edge, ready to drop with them. Already knowing Sam would be ready to come the instant Rachel did, the instant he got permission. "She would feel so tight around you right now, I bet. Would you like that?"
Rachel Berry
"Oh, God," Rachel moaned, just imagining that. She didn't need much more, especially with Sam's expert tongue working over her. Her body started to shake, limbs tightening, moans getting even louder as it finally spiked inside her, perfect and shining, the dam breaking with a flood of incredible pleasure.
Sam Evans
Sam was practically whimpering with need, the images Adam was creating in his head driving him mad. His hands came to hold Rachel's hips carefully, so he could lap gently at her center to bring her through her climax. Once her body began to calm, Sam lifted his head with a proud little smile. "You look beautiful, miss."
Adam Crawford
"She does, doesn't she." Adam agreed, squeezing at Sam's cock. "Now, you've been so good, done everything we asked, kept your grip so tight for me, Pet. Would you like to come?" Adam asked, leaning close enough to nip at Sam's ear.
Rachel Berry
Rachel smiled lazily, reaching up to stroke Sam's cheek gently through the haze of pleasure that still clouded her vision. "You did so well," she murmured. "You deserve a reward."
Sam Evans
Sam wanted to come. He wanted to so badly, and hearing Rachel's sated voice only brought him that much closer. He also wanted to be as good as he possibly could be though, so he looked over his shoulder again, smiling when Adam was right there. "I want- to make you come, Sir," He breathed out, squeezing his thighs together a little tighter. It wasn't the most comfortable, but it would only be for a few moments.
Adam Crawford
"Oh, God," Adam moaned, cheeks flushing as his hands gripped Sam's hips tightly, pulling him back into Adam's lap. Their boy, putting their needs first --even when told directly that he could come-- he wanted to please them that badly. "Fuck, Sam! Yes!" Adam shouted, thrusting once, twice more to completion. His eyes fluttered before he dove for Sam's mouth, kissing him as deeply as he could, tasting salt and slick on Sam's tongue from tending to Rachel's needs only moments before.
Rachel Berry
Rachel was perfectly content to watch the boys, now, a smile on her lips as her eyes focused on the way Sam's dick bobbed in front of him, heavy with need. She wanted to touch him now, wanted to help him with his reward. Heavy-limbed, but no less determined, she sat up and curled her slim fingers around Sam, flicking dark eyes up to watch his face.
Sam Evans
Sam gasped into Adam's mouth as he felt Rachel's fingers wrap around him. He had the taste of Rachel still on his lips, and he could feel Adam's come cooling on his thighs. It was incredible. "Sir? Would you... touch me too, please? I'd love to feel you both... please?"
Adam Crawford
"Yes, of course," Adam agreed, tugging his hand from Sam's hip and wrapping it tightly with Rachel's; the pair of them pulling Sam's cock in quick, sharp strokes up the length.
Rachel Berry
"You were so good," Rachel cooed, close to Sam's ear; the effects of her climax still leaving her loose-limbed and sleepy. "We just want to reward you for how good you were. Don't we?" She asked, but kept looking at Sam's face, even though, ostensibly, she asked it of Adam. Sam had such a good face, one that she wanted to keep, all for herself.
Sam Evans
Sam's breath was heavy and desperate as he met Rachel's eyes. She was so beautiful, and she wanted to make him feel good. Her and Adam's hands felt so different, but so good together, moving over his cock in just the right way. "Oh... ohhhh..." He couldn't hold back anymore. He just couldn't. He let himself go and came hard, his fingers clenching at the mattress beneath them as he moaned loudly.
Adam Crawford
Adam cooed as they stroked Sam through it, milking him for every last drop, until he was lying limp and boneless in their arms. "Such a good pet," Adam murmured, stroking the hair back from Sam's face. "Deserves more treats like that. Always, don't you think, Rachel?"
Rachel Berry
"If he's always good," Rachel said, and leaned up to press a gentle, almost chaste kiss to the corner of Sam's mouth. "But I have a feeling he would be. Right, Sam?"
Sam Evans
Sam could barely feel anything below his neck, but he gave Rachel a small smile and nodded. "Yes, Miss. Always," He promised. "I'd always be good for you. Thank you, so much." This whole night was exactly what he needed to get all of the craziness off of his mind. It had worked too, because all he could think about was these two wonderful people who'd taken such good care of him.
Adam Crawford
"Rest," Adam suggested, pressing a kiss to Sam's temple. "We'll watch over you. Just rest. You're safe here."
Notes: Adam runs into Sam at his work and manages to make a better first impression.
Adam was well aware New York was the land of 'Go Big or Go Home,' but he hadn't quite realized just what that would mean until he actually set foot in Midtown Comics and whistled. He'd never seen so many comic books in one place, or so many nerd-oriented people perusing the shelves at once.
Sam Evans
Sam was pushing a cart full of various Avenger action figures that he was supposed to hang on the wall, when he spotted Adam out of the corner of his eye. He was still trying to figure the guy out in all honesty, or at least what his motives were. He would be his usual sweet and welcoming self though. Raising a hand, he gave the man a little smile and a wave.
Adam Crawford
Adam smiled broadly, side stepping a table laden with merchandise to speak to Sam. "Hey, was wondering if you might be working today. You've inspired me. All the talk about Doctor Who the other day, and that R2D2, I thought I'd stop by."
Sam Evans
Sam chuckled and nodded as he remembered the conversation. "Yeah, absolutely. It's good to see you. Well, the R2D2's gone obviously, but we got some other huge figures. And plenty of Who stuff, comics included. I can show you to the section if you like," He offered.
Adam Crawford
"Yeah, that'd be great," Adam agreed with a nod, stepping back so Sam could lead the way. "I'm not sure I'm planning to invest in one of the larger figures, but it'd certainly be fun to take a look at them."
Sam Evans
"Yeah, I'd suggest using your money to like... pay your rent for a month," Sam laughed as he set his cart off to the side. He could take care of that later. "But they're cool to look at, and lots'a people take photos with 'em. The artistry's pretty cool."
Adam Crawford
"Do they sell frequently then? I mean, do you usually have a new selection to choose from week by week, or is it the same four figures most of the year?" Adam asked, already more than a little excited to see what figures would be on display.
Sam Evans
"Um... somewhere in between." Sam smiled and shrugged as he lead the way through the rows of comics and people. "We sell, maybe about one a month, depending on the time of year. Sometimes we go a couple months without selling any, but then we'll make up for it around Christmas time. Your average customer can't afford 'em, but New York's got some rich folks too." They finally reached the corner where they were on display. "Right now, we've got a Spiderman, a Storm Trooper, and... Stewie, apparently. I think we've got a new one shipping in soon since we... and by we, I mean I, sold R2."
Adam Crawford
Adam smiled fondly at Sam's exuberance. "Congratulations again for that. Was it a tough sell? Or was the guy already interested just because... well, it's R2?"
Sam Evans
"He was pretty interested, yeah," Sam laughed as he readjusted one of the small informational signs beneath Stewie. "But it's the biggest sale I've made yet, so I'm taking the win. I think it was for a birthday or something. Definitely never got anything like that for my birthday."
Adam Crawford
"Do you want something like that for your birthday?" Adam asked casually, peering at the detail on Spiderman's costume.
Sam Evans
"Probably not so much anymore," Sam admitted. "Wouldn't have anywhere to put it. Unless my roommate moved out. Would've probably killed for one when I was about 12 though." He chuckled, shrugging it off. He wasn't one to complain much about the sacrifices he had to make when he was younger. It was what it was. "Working with 'em is good enough for now though. Maybe if I get rich and famous."
Adam Crawford
"You mean when you get rich and famous, right?" Adam teased, giving Sam a friendly nudge. "And you'll move out of the dorms eventually, maybe you can buy one of these guys to celebrate the occasion." Adam wasn't being terribly serious, though he did look over the various figures with a certain... nostalgia.
Sam Evans
Sam just hummed, still a little skeptical of it himself. He was going to work as hard as he possibly could to take advantage of the chances he'd been given, but he knew how the industry worked too. He was both hopeful and realistic. "Anyway, if you like, I can show you some things normal people can afford," He offered, gesturing toward the Who section of their store, near the photobooth. "Do you actually read comics much, or...?"
Adam Crawford
"I have in the past. Lately, I've been a bit preoccupied. First with school in a new country, and lately with my job; but I might be convinced to take an interest again, now that I'm starting to get used to a regular, consistent routine," Adam offered, gesturing idly as he followed Sam towards the back.
Sam Evans
"Yeah, I get that. My first year of college definitely opened my eyes to how much work they really put you through," Sam agreed. "Thankfully, working here helps me keep up with the comic world, obviously. But if you're into Who, we have a lot of those volumes and they're just extra stories added into what you see on the show, so they're pretty easy to follow. And we got the photobooth, of course, if you wanna check that out."
Adam Crawford
"Can't come by Midtown Comics and not check out the photo booth," Adam chuckled, thinking if Sam thought College was hard, he should wait until he worked full time in the real world. "I've been meaning to check out the audio series for Who, actually. I don't suppose you guys have any of those? I'm told Paul McGann is great in them."
Sam Evans
"Oh, yeah! We do," Sam recalled, scanning the shelves with his eyes. "Here we go. We've got plenty to choose from. And the photobooth is that huge blue thing right there. Um... is there anything else you needed help with?"
Adam Crawford
"Hmm." Adam mused, skimming over the racks of Big Finish Audio to choose from before turning to the Tardis booth next to them. "Well... Not precisely... Just... Photobooth pictures by yourself are a bit..." Adam trailed off, with a sardonic grimace. "I know we didn't exactly get off on the right foot, but would you mind joining me? If you won't get in trouble with your superiors that is. I'd like to at least salvage a friendship with you. You seem like a really interesting bloke."
Sam Evans
Sam smiled slowly and looked around. There wasn't anything too pressing going on right now and they weren't packed or anything. The other employees working today should be able to handle things for a few minutes. "Sure," He agreed. "And, um... thanks. I guess I just felt bad that I wasn't... what you were looking for exactly."
Adam Crawford
"You..." Adam sighed, hand raised placating, just short of clasping Sam's shoulder. "You're wonderful, I promise. I very much enjoyed our time together. I just... don't do attachments very well. I never have. As cliche as this line is, it wasn't you. It's me, and it really is me," Adam said awkwardly to the floor.
Sam Evans
Sam couldn't stop the laugh that escaped him. "Wow. That was... really bad." He shook his head, still smiling as he stepped into the photobooth and held the curtain back for Adam to follow him. "I guess we're all looking for our own things. What do you want though?"
Adam Crawford
"I don't know..." Adam shrugged, climbing in after Sam. "The same things everyone is, a connection, friendship, intimacy. What about you, what are you looking for?"
Sam Evans
"Oh, um..." Sam's cheeks blushed slightly as he took a seat on the bench and glanced up at Adam. "Sure, yeah. Those things. Those are good. And... and some other things too."
Adam Crawford
"Such as?" Adam asked curiously, taking his own seat. The photobooth was already quite small, and with two grown men seated side by side, there wasn't a lot of room between them. None at all, in fact. Their sides pressed almost flush together.
Sam Evans
Sam chewed at his bottom lip momentarily. He didn't think Adam was going to be the type to judge exactly; Sam just wasn't good at talking about awkward stuff, especially when he didn't know as much as he wanted to know. "Um you know... things. Have you- ever been to the Sky Lounge?" He glanced up, watching Adam's eyes carefully.
Adam Crawford
Adam blinked, suddenly taking Sam in with a new light. "I have, a few times. Is that... something you're interested in?" He asked casually.
Sam Evans
Sam brushed his palms against his thighs to wipe anyway sweat that might be forming. He just nodded at first as he tried to figure his words out. "I, um... I've only been once, but... I enjoyed it, yes."
Adam Crawford
"Hey, it's alright. Nothing to be ashamed of," Adam soothed. "I'm the same- Well, perhaps not quite the same." He said with a soft chuckle, "But I'm familiar with the lifestyle. I think it's great that you're aware and embracing that part of yourself."
Sam Evans
Sam's smile relaxed a little, and he looked up at Adam a little more properly. "Thanks," He said softly. "But, yeah, I guess I'm looking for someone who... wants... well, wants me around for starters." He gave Adam a look, but laughed all the same.
Adam Crawford
Adam groaned, leaning forward and running a hand over his face. "I do want you around I just..." He sighed. "Have I mentioned I'm not good at this? I promise, if you gave me another chance, I'd do better... I'd make you breakfast and everything- Although... I'm a truly abysmal cook, so unless you want fried green tomatoes for breakfast, you may be better off not staying that long..."
Sam Evans
Sam just laughed again as he considered what Adam was saying. "It's alright if you... aren't into that sorta thing. Maybe... maybe we could go to the club or something. Maybe it would be a... better venue for us," He suggested. "Since we'd... both know where we stood."
Adam Crawford
"If that's what you want..." Adam offered, hand resting gently on Sam's wrist. "I think I'd like that very much though..." His eyes flicked involuntarily to Sam's mouth, considering their night together. It may not have ended as well as it could have, but Adam remembered some very good memories before he'd stupidly decided driving Sam back to his dorm in the middle of the night was in any way a good idea.
Sam Evans
Sam swallowed as he looked down at Adam's hand and then back up into his eyes. "'Though?' Like... 'but' but fancier? Or 'though' like: Sure, that'd be fun?" He hated when he got himself all confused.
Adam Crawford
"'Though' as in, I think it would be a brilliant way to spend an evening." Adam chuckled, giving Sam's arm another squeeze. "Thank you for asking for the clarification."
Sam Evans
Sam's face relaxed once again, and he nodded in understanding --now that he did. "Okay. Cool, sure. I'd like that. I've kinda been craving a night where I wasn't, um... the third brought in for fun.. so to speak. Sorry, I don't mean to keep complaining about you. And it's not just you. I guess I'm starting to question myself too much."
Adam Crawford
A pulse of sympathy and regret shot through Adam at that, and he turned to face Sam more bodily. "I'm so sorry I made you feel that way, even if just in part..." He raised his hand, one crooked finger lifting Sam's chin. "Please, give me the chance to make it better? To show you what I should have done? How you deserve to be treated?"
Sam Evans
Sam smiled a little nervously, but he took a deep breath and he nodded in agreement. "Yes, sure. I'd like that. And I promise, it wasn't just you. It's just, um... the last time --the only time-- I went there, I was with these two people and then they... got together like a few days later, so... I don't know. I'm probably being stupid."
Adam Crawford
"You aren't being stupid. Not at all. I understand completely how that would make you feel..." Adam's hand slid from Sam's chin to cupping his jaw, but he resisted the near overwhelming urge to kiss him. "You are allowed to feel everything you feel. Those are your emotions, you cannot help them, nor are they ever your fault."
Sam Evans
Sam searched Adam's eyes curiously, still trying to figure the other man out. "Have you... turned into a different person?" He asked with a laugh. "I mean... I had a good time last time too. I really did. But this... is new. It's nice."
Adam Crawford
"I believe an accurate description of the situation would be, 'I got my head out of my arse.'" Adam chuckled smiling. "So... if you're okay... I think we maybe should take our pictures now? Because it's either that or I snog you right now, because I very much want to kiss you..."
Sam Evans
Sam blushed again and looked away momentarily with a soft smile on his face. "Pictures sound good," He agreed. "But... if you wanted to... I wouldn't stop you or anything. But I'm gonna need a dollar."
Adam Crawford
Adam blinked slowly in confusion. "You're going to charge me to kiss you?" He asked, though he leaned closer, thumb brushing over Sam's cheek.
Sam Evans
Sam's laugh brightened, and he shook his head. "No. No, the pictures. It costs a dollar to make the booth work, so it'll take your pictures. And I don't have any cash on me during work hours," he explained.
Adam Crawford
"Oh, I see, yeah, sure," Adam said, his hand falling to Sam's shoulder as he fished out his wallet. He managed to pull a single bill out one handed and push his wallet away again before holding it out and turning back to Sam. "Here, go ahead."
Sam Evans
"Thanks." Sam leaned forward and slid the dollar into the slot. "Um... you can pick a background if you want? Inside the Tardis or... Gallifrey skyline. Bunch of daleks or... a circle of Doctors around our heads."
Adam Crawford
"You pick." Adam smiled, his gaze never wavering from Sam's face. "I'd like to see what your choice would be."
Sam Evans
"Are you testing me?" Sam laughed, glancing at Adam over his shoulder. "Um... alright..." He decided on Gallifrey, since he thought it was the prettiest, and sat back on the bench again beside Adam. "Are you gonna look at the light so you know when the picture's happening?"
Adam Crawford
"Not a test," Adam said, glancing forward to check the mentioned light. "But I think there's something I'd like to look at more..." He murmured, looking back at Sam's face from the side.
Sam Evans
Sam rolled his eyes playfully and looked over at Adam. "Nice one," He teased. "You get four pictures, you know? Gonna spend 'em all staring at me?" The first once flashed with them looking at each other and Sam shook his head. "At least one I guess."
Adam Crawford
"No, not all four of them." Adam said, raising his hand. The second picture flashed as Adam smirked, fingers tipping Sam's chin up, gently. But, Adam didn't pay it any mind. Eyes flicking down to Sam's lips only briefly, he leaned in, pressing their mouths together.
Sam Evans
Sam gasped a little against Adam's lips, but he accepted the kiss willingly, happily really. He kissed right back until after the third flash went off and brought him back to reality. "Will you look at the camera, please?" He joked, turning Adam's chin towards the screen, so the last picture could be taken.
Adam Crawford
Adam smiled brightly, throwing an arm over Sam's shoulders and leaning against the other man. Just in time before the final flash went off, taking their picture. As soon as the light cleared from Adam's eyes, he turned back to Sam's face. "Happy?" He asked, fondly.
Sam Evans
"Very. Thank you," Sam agreed, leaning on Adam momentarily as he let out an airy laugh. "I think that was the first time I was ever kissed on another planet. That's pretty momentous."
Adam Crawford
Adam laughed brightly his head falling back as his eyes crinkled up. "And we caught it on film even." He teased, stroking a finger lightly over the pale stubble along Sam's cheek. "I don't know if anyone's ever told you this, but you are utterly adorable when you smile..."
Sam Evans
Which just made Sam smile again, as ridiculous as it was. "I don't know if anyone's ever told you, but you are a very smooth talker. That accent helps too. No wonder you're getting laid so often."
Adam Crawford
Adam chuckled, shaking his head slightly. "Thank you. I think... So... Sky Lounge... tonight?" Adam asked, a note of hope in his voice as he licked his lips.
Sam Evans
"Tonight?" Sam hadn't been expecting that quite so soon, but he wasn't working too late and it did sound like a good time. "Sure. Tonight. I do have class in the morning though, so... don't keep me out all night," he teased.
Adam Crawford
"Oh, believe me, I'll make sure you head to bed at a perfectly reasonable hour." Adam promised, leaning in for one more kiss. "Now, if you'll actually be going to sleep... that is another matter entirely."
Sam Evans
"You're something else," Sam laughed. He was still a little nervous, but he supposed Adam did deserve another chance, especially now that Sam had explained himself. If he did it again they'd have words. And no more sex. But one more chance couldn't hurt. "If I fail at taking notes tomorrow, it's on you."
Adam Crawford
"Scout's honor," Adam said placing one hand over his chest and raising the other in an open palm.
Romance. It wasn't something Kate was exceptionally big upon. But if someone came along and was willing to take the time, she could certainly buy into it. However, this was not what she was looking for in this day in age, not at that point in time. She was simply looking for a good time, and she understood that Sam Malone was under the same pretenses.
Having picked out an appropriate gown, sun hat, and practical flats, Kate looked the elegant part of a London-born Chicago-queen. At least, in her reality. When she wasn't working, she enjoyed looking her best, it came down to the very brand for her. Though, she would never judge others on those expectations. She indulged in the likes of Chanel, Gucci, Versace, Diane Von Furstenberg, whose short white number she had on that particular afternoon. She was on her way to the docks to meet with Sam, for a lovely adventure. The two had yearned ever so for said adventure, to get away from the small walls of Chicago town.
Having loaded up a small carry on duffle-bag with simple necessities, some flowing gowns she'd bought just for the occasion of getting away, some lingerie (just in case), a tooth brush, paste, shampoo, body soap and what not. She called a driver to take her to the docks. Only taking about a half hour to get to her destination, she softly stepped out from the vehicle, a hand softly making it's presence in her doorway. Kate kinked an eyebrow, placing her hand upon his palm she stepped from the confines of the vehicle.
She brushed her lips together and offered a gentle grin. "How very kind of you, Mr. Malone." She teased releasing his hand. "I hope I didn't come, over dressed or over prepared." She gave a nod to her small duffle.
