The last chapter of TCOS is coming on Saturday.

Can't believe it's over. That's a year of my life (ooof).

“I’ll take it you used this as an excuse to gift Harry a broom?” Regulus asks, quirking a brow at his brother. “Not cool, Pads. I planned on giving him one for his birthday in December, and now I have to come up with a whole new idea,” James grumbles, but he can’t maintain the sad face for long. Not when Harry lights up, snatches the miniature Starblazer 3000 from Regulus’ hands, mounts it like a pro, and zooms away without a backward glance.  “Like father, like son,” Sirius laughs, unrepentant.   “Both in constant competition about who will give me the biggest headache,” Regulus sighs, then pats James’ knee. “Would you be a dear and catch him before he bashes his head in?”  “Only if you specify whether you mean ‘dear’ or ‘deer’ in this scenario,” James laughs and ducks the hex aimed his way. After all these years of marriage, he knows what to expect from his husband.

Two days late. Fuck it. I've been distracted.

Just like the horrors we persist. Working on chapter twelve of TCoS. here's a snippet.
