How does it feel to share someone so important in your life?

ANSWER:

SAM: Yeah, that’s … that’s an interesting way of looking at things, actually. I know we had years and years where it was just he and I (points at Dean) on the road together. And that was great. I mean, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. But these two getting together (elbows Reader lightly) was just such a natural progression as far as relationships go. I definitely saw it coming. I knew right off the bat they had something, but it took them both a little longer to come around to it than I initially expected. (Chuckles as he glances at Dean and Reader who are nodding in acknowledgement.) See? They won’t even deny it. So I guess I’m happy to share because I’ve learned a lot about family and my definition of that has sort of evolved over time. And with Jonah here now, it just feels complete, you know? Sometimes things happen that you wouldn’t even dare dream of, and then afterward you can’t imagine ever going through life without them. That’s how I feel about Spider Monkey here and Jonah. And speaking of Jonah, I’m still figuring out what it means to be an uncle but I never imagined how much I could love the little squirt until he came along….
