I got a new (secondhand) laptop and after I was done setting it up, I picked this as my wallpaper!

Also, later when I was doing a zoom meeting with my cousin, I made this as the background and it was such a blast, like I couldn't stop laughing whenever I caught sight of myself between these two 😂

🔥 Waffles or Pancakes?

Hello!

Thank you so much for the ask! 😬 I’m so sorry it took me this long to answer...

Though I like pancakes well enough, I love waffles more. Maybe it’s because we get more authentic waffles in my city than we get good pancakes. Also because they tend to put eggs in to pancakes batter and I don’t eat eggs. Surprisingly, all the waffle shops in my city make surprisingly great waffles without eggs! 😬

When did you write your first fanfic and what was the fandom and pairing..? 🙂

I don’t know if this counts as a fanfic, but the first time I wrote anything based on another work was when I was 13. I had watched a local indie film that I liked so much that I wrote a version of it for my exam. And that too, in first person POV. What’s funny is that my English teacher liked it a lot. She wrote her comments on the margins. lol.

But that was when I didn’t know what a fandom culture was, so if you discount that, then it’s cherik for the xmen fandom. Though I came very close to writing for hiddlesworth before that

E: What character do you identify with most?  Is there a certain fic of yours that captures these qualities particularly well?

I identify with several aspects of almost all the characters I write for. But for the most part I identify with Erik. Especially Erik's anger and his struggle with it (not with his genocidal tendencies, I assure you). I've tried to capture those qualities in Rum and Coke and The Beginnings of Belief (I wouldn't say well though. He he he)
