Samarah’s eyes(shape and color), as well as her skin tone came from her mother, while her hair color and the rest of her features came from her father.

Samarah was born to a commoners life, a wanderer when tragedy rendered her without a family at the age of sixteen.
Yet returning home gave her information about her father, and possibly the last remaining family she had.
So it was off to Heliohapt, to meet with the king, and learn her true identity.

Familiars: For Samarah and Leila’s Kamigami no Asobi verse
Mayumi, Samarah’s familiar. A Yellow-Lipped Sea Krait.
They are not aggressive and rarely ever bite humans. Even though they live in water, Yellow-lipped sea krait do not have gills so they have to go to the surface to breath air, but a yellow-lipped sea krait can go as deep as 100 meters underwater and stay there for up to an hour.
Mayumi is a female sea krait. While not aggressive in that she doesn’t fight all the time, she is a bit on the impatient side, balancing out Samarah’s great well of patience. Though while Samarah can lose her temper after a great deal of intense provocation, it would take even more for Mayumi to lash out. Though she won’t hesitate, should Samarah or Leila(when she’s still a child) be threatened.
Kenji the spotted eagle ray
Their daily movement is influenced by the tides; one tracking study showed that they are more active during high tides.... When in shallow waters or outside their normal swimming areas the rays are most commonly seen alone, but they do also congregate in schools. One form of traveling is called loose aggregation, which is when three to sixteen rays are swimming in a loose group, with occasional interactions between them.
Kenji is a male spotted eagle ray. Where Leila is excitable and can be a bit rough, he is incredibly calm and gentle. However, if he or Leila are threatened, he will lash out.

As with all other verses, Samarah loves to sing. even more so with/for her children, like her mother did with her.
