Olba’s posture stiffened, not quite pleased with Lady Maader had instructed one of her slaves to serve on the head of the fleet for the Mariadel Company which was his responsibility.  He wasn’t sure what to make of him but he’d have to accept her wishes and instruct Sinbad on how they did their work.

Fortunately he wouldn’t feel too compelled to be sympathetic seeing as slaves had little choice in what they were assigned to do but it was curious to see how he’d take to aiding the means of trading other’s like him on a worldwide scale firsthand.

“S-Samar… I mean, Mistress!”

He had to speak formally, they were out in public after all. Quickly he moved to catch her with one hand, the other going to her forehead to check for a fever. She hadn’t been eating much lately, and she’d worked herself to the bone.

              “Are you alright?”

“T-take me back,” she managed, only barely managing to stay awake “t-there’s something important I need to do...for you...”

She needed food, and some rest, above all else, though. Yet she wanted to tell him before anything else.
