The theme chosen by Imperatriz Leopoldinense samba school for the 2026 carnaval was singer Ney Matogrosso. The enredo, named “Camaleônico” (Chameleon), celebrates one of the most important singers of Brazilian popular music, extolling “the work and performing virtuosity of the interpreter of hits such as ‘Sangue Latino,’ 'Rosa de Hiroshima,‘ 'O Vira,’ 'Homem com H,‘ and 'Metamorfose Ambulante.’” A parade about transformation, freedom, and art. A celebration of those who dare to be many — and, for that very reason, never disappear.
