NCAA Players To Watch

Last year, I hopped on the Elfrid Payton bandwagon right around this time, and look what happened to him!

This year, here are the players whose bandwagon I would like to encourage you to join:

1. Stanley Johsnon, Arizona - I have seen him play several times and have been impressed several times. I am also annoyed that he has a far more impressive body at his age than I will ever have. That doesn't seem fair.

2. Sam Dekker, Wisconsin - Like extremely efficient Caucasian swingmen? This is your guy.

3. Willie Cauley-Stein, Kentucky - Not only is he an athletic lanky 7-footer, but he managed the rare feat of staying at Kentucky for 3 years, which is nearly impossible to do these days without Coach Cal literally driving you out of Lexington and dumping you out of his car.

4. Cat Barber, NC State - I am pretty sure he won’t make the tournament, but I truly appreciate his game, his nickname and his haircut. Hopefully better things are in store for Cat next year.
