I’ve read many msa fanfics (both in the past and now) with a lot of “the trio shielding each other from bullies” kind of plot points. It always aches whenever i compare these headcanon-flashbacks with the actual lore of the current official videos- And I refuse to suffer alone :)
Sketching was a lot of fun for this one! I wanted to be mindful with the two’s position and space in each panel to portray the passage of time... if that make sense? Such as always placing Arthur on the left while Lewis on the right. (And also having Arthur slowly fade into the background and getting smaller while Lewis is taking up more and more space) These decisions definitely wasn’t obvious and I’ll try to convey this concept better in the future :)
Saw @teenageukulelescreamo‘s never sleep again au where lewis was wearing a letterman jacket and the idea has suctioned itself to my brain (thank you for this blessing ;-;)
