#personal #i'll admit that making gifs for over 10 years now has begun to feel like a chore #the more effort i put into it the less people seem to care #the rampant reposting - especially with my sideblog - has increased as well #i've had to change my blog settings so that it would help preventing it #but still #i have to slap watermarks on my gifs now and people still repost them #all i ask for is credit and some people can't be arsed to do that either #not to mention the toxicity in fandoms #it feels overwhelming to me now #same with writing #i haven't been able to write anything since the summer of 2024 #i have ideas but no focus #too much stress in my life right now

can you guys recommend me any hobbies/activities that take a long time but don't require a lot of money to pursue. preferably not something that requires exceptionally steady hands and/or lots of hand movement either. it's the last week and a half before uni starts again and i don't wanna waste it all doing commisions and playing roblox </3

Today I installed 8 ollas. Repotted a cactus. Weeded and pruned the palm pots. Watered. Refilled the hummingbird feeder. Fertilized one cactus that's looking not so great. Picked up prescriptions. Went to a craft store (partner needed things to help with someone's costume idea). Went to the market. Put everything away from the market. Mixed up some spices and meat for loco moco for dinner. Started rice. Took out trash. Cleaned out the fridge. Did several loads of laundry (kitchen towels, partner's clothes, my clothes). Walked down to get the mail. I'm currently very sore and very tired and am debating just going to sleep despite the sun still being up.
