It’s a pretty good mix of punk, rap, and electronica. I think I remember hearing that they all played guitar and had a drum machine on tour. They remind me of a few other indulgent and nihilistic indie bands from that same era, but goddamn it’s fun. The song “catch it” is brutal as hell too. The band says the name is about scientists testing icicles or something, but their previous band was called “Balls” - so the world may never know. Fun fact: the album title and first song are inspired by the movie Thicker Than Water.
