stuck in this place i hate to call home

don't think i've ever felt this much alone

surrounded by people who shut me out

even though they're clueless on what i'm about

photos and statuses don't describe me

if you gave me a real chance, maybe you'd see

i'm completely down to earth, never act fake

anything i have to say, i'll say it to your face

i'm honest with my opinions, i'll give you advice

i actually give a shit about you and your life

if you ask me for something, i'll always be there

everything i have, i will always share

music is my life, it's like my constant therapy

success and creativity mean everything to me

i'm not big on politics, there's a lot i'd like to learn

but the environment is something for which i always have concern

i hate this society, but i've decided to play the game

i'll follow these stupid rules and see what i can gain

and when i'm successful enough, i'll use that power

to save this earth before it ends up like the towers 

i listen to rock, dubstep, reggae and alternative

no it's not because i'm trying to fit in 

one thing that makes me different from the people that surround me

is the fact that i don't care what you have to say about me

i'm always myself, whether you believe it or not

nah i don't think i'm cool just cause i smoke pot

i love my brother to death, but the fact that we're related

shouldn't be an excuse for me to constantly be hated

yeah the guy i thought i loved turned out to be fucked up

that's just something that happens when you have my luck

well i'm done with this rant, i'm tired of talking about me

maybe you'll find this worthwhile to read
