I love my new tablet <3 Like I'm writing this with this cool pen thingy on the tablet... IT'S SO COOL :D
My current cell phone, a Motorola Droid X2, is finally nearing the end of its life. It's not just my personal phone but it doubles as my business phone and now that I never know if I'm missing a call/text or I may not be able to call out or send out a text it's really time to upgrade. Luckily I was close to my upgrade so all I needed to do was call customer service to have them take care of everything. FYI, if you ever need an early upgrade it's hard to get this taken care of at the *insert mobile carrier here* store. This is especially true for Verizon. They have amazing customer service if you CALL, not so much when you go into the store. I have a few horror stories as do most people I know who go through Verizon.
I had a wonderful chat with a woman who is a mother and a grandmother. Originally I wanted the Galaxy Note II but it was originally closer to the $300 range instead of the $199.99 range. I saw that the new Galaxy S4 was on a promo so I was going to get that. Sadly I couldn't because it's on pre-order and there wasn't any way for her to push my request through since this was going to be an authorized early upgrade. She apologized up and down, which was no problem for me, I completely understood the situation.
We started discussing the Note II, which was my original choice and I had been very excited about it but realized it was a bit too much, she pointed out that they had just dropped the price on it and it was on promo. The more expensive phone was actually the same price as the one I had picked out! Yes! She was able to push that one through so I'll be receiving my Galaxy Note II on Wednesday! I'm beyond excited! This will be a simply fantastic business phone!
During our discussion though she was talking about how she was going to be switching over to the Galaxy Note II herself. She said she's been able to mess around with it and actually use it a little bit and she much prefers it over any other phone she's ever owned. I asked her about the size, which I honestly wasn't worried about in the beginning but SO many people bitched about it (why did you buy it anyway then!? Ugh, weird people), and she said she has pretty small hands but doesn't have issues with the phone at all. She did point out that it doesn't fit in women's pockets very well (which I was already aware of) but it slips easily into a purse or bag. She said the image quality is amazing and photos show up well and the camera on the phone takes very nice images. She said this was very important to her because of her grandson. I had a very nice conversation with this woman and it always amuses me how amazing and nice the people on the phone are compared to the people in the Verizon stores. I'm not sure if the people on the phone gain commission at all but I know the people in the stores do, maybe that has something to do with it. I've worked on commission before but it didn't mess with how nice I was to people and how well my customer service was.
Anyway, my points are:
OMG I GET MY DREAM PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Verizon CS woman you're awesome!
Always call, don't go in!
MY PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will miss my Droid T_T
BUT LOOK HOW PRETTY!
WEDNESDAY WHERE ARE YOU!?
Customer service is very important, don't take it lightly.
