Let's Meat at the Usual
Juicy. Tender. Unlimited. That's what unlimited korean bbq or others call Samgyupsal is, to eat all the meat you can consume until the button of your pants can't hold the bloated belly of yours anymore. Satisfying and worth it it really is.
"Samgyeoupsoul" is the name of the unlimited korean bbq restaurant we always eat at, me and my big brother. Located at Open Kitchen food park in Congressional Avenue extension, it is a place diverse in many sorts of food stalls.
Just like what the name of the stall is, indeed the samgyupsal (korean term for grilled meat) touches your soul with the meaty tenderness of the meat. You decide how you will cook the meat! That's what is really enjoyable about it, you get to cook your own food through a smokless and oil less grilling pan. If you want crunchy meat, then grill for atleast 7 minutes. If you prefer medium rare, cook for 4 minutes.
The stall offers two kinds of meat, beef and pork. If you want to have only pork, you will have to pay 249 pesos but if you want unlimited pork and beef, you will have to pay 349 pesos. It is really worth it! It seems too much at first but when you get to bite that juicy meat, you'll say "it's so freaking worth it, it's so delicious"
The order also comes with three kinds of sauce, sesame oil, korean spicy bean sauce, and korean soy sauce which really fits the pale taste of the meat. These flavors are really the coloring elements to the food you eat. It also comes with three side dishes, 3 healthy dishes, bean sprouts, water spinach, and the spicy mouthwathering kimchi. It also comes with fresh picked lettuce.
To really enjoy the food, first is get the lettuce then put meat, the sauce of your reference, the three side dishes then fold it, thet crunch it whole! Swallow it whole and you can enjoy the crunciness of the lettuce, the tenderness of the meat and the vibrant flavors of the side dishes combining with the taste of your sauce.
This place is the food place we are always at. Why? Simply because of the affordable price, the quality of the food and the unlimited korean pork, and you even get to order other food from different stalls and because the location is very easy to go to! And the place is very segregated, the liquor area where customers are allowed to eat is at the second floor and those who only intends to eat stay at the first floor to maintain peace and to keep others from being awkward and feel anxious of the people who are already drunk.
