🐇 What animal would they say best represents them?

probably a dog—loyal, eager to please, loves deeply.

🍒 What are some items they always carry? What weapon do they favor using if they exist in a world where weapons are necessary?

he doesn’t carry much when he’s out in the field—just emergency/first aid items, like bandages and elixirs and such, because his holy magic can’t fix everything. sometimes you need a more practical and common way to care for an injury!

as for preferred weapon, he carries a crystalline hammer he’s had since the restoration of the aldor on outland. he knows how to use a sword, too, but he doesn’t really care much for bladed weapons.

🌵 What languages do they speak?

draenic eredun (obviously), common, orcish, and thalassian. he picked up the thalassian from his time in outland shattrath and quel’danas, since he worked in close proximity with blood elves.

💖 Do they have a significant other? If so, who?

he does! her name is reithie (maybe you’ve heard of her, idk), and she is the mother of his child. they met a few years ago and he fell for her very quickly—a combination of her upbeat attitude, sense of humor, and adventurous spirit. they’ve settled into parenthood (as well as the protection of their home/people) over the past three years, but he still loves her just as deeply and passionately as ever.

during her life on draenor, she enjoyed status as a well-known socialite among the draenei.

she is as intelligent as she is vain. from an early age, she was a very fast learner and excelled in academics. even now she catches on to things very quickly.

when she was a child, around 6 years old, she would take things apart and put them back together—perfectly. this became a favorite thing of hers, and ultimately led to her studying to be an artificer.

while she can fix and accurately design mechanical things, she cannot build them from scratch.

hadi’ra hardly wears anything but the finest clothing and jewelry. when she does any kind of engineering work, she dresses way down—to the point that she’s practically in disguise.

in reality, hadi’ra and her father are no longer wealthy like they had been on draenor—but that doesn’t stop her from pretending. this has only been changing little by little over the past year as she’s slowly accepting that things are different now and she has had to reforge her identity.

although she had been a magical prodigy due to an innately powerful ability with the arcane, she has largely let that training fall by the wayside since coming to azeroth. only recently has she taken it back up under the guidance of vivaaldi.

she has been in love with the same person for almost all of her life thus far: her childhood friend, atuulos. while she soaked up male attention like sustenance and has even had a few casual relationships, her focus had always been on atuulos. however, since he always seemed uncertain (though she could tell he liked her too), she never wanted to push it. she figured it would happen when it happened… and recently, it has.

hadi’ra developed the plans for the control console in the vindicaar… but ensured this remained vague. she isn’t ready to publicly debut her nascent identity as a talented artificer just yet; she is still clinging to her past reputation.

all of her academic proficiency, arcane affinity, and engineering skill aside, she wishes she could play a musical instrument. unfortunately, she’s tragically tone deaf.

🔫 What would they die for? Kill for?

he’d die to protect his people (including and especially his family) and the spirits of the dead among them. if any force of evil—be it the void, or light forbid, the legion, should it return—took to defiling the spirits or killing the draenei en masse again, he’d do whatever it takes to stop it. that also applies to what he’d kill for—something he doesn’t take lightly at all.

🍯 Which era of history would they most like to live in?

he doesn’t really have any kind of preference as far as this goes; he’s only ever known draenor, having been born there. being as young as he is, the history of argus has only existed in stories, so he has no sentimental or nostalgic attachment to it.

🌊 What one place do they really want to visit and why?

he’d like to go back to pandaria and really get a chance to experience it. the only time he’s ever gone was for an emergency, so exploring the land was the absolute last thing on his mind.

😊 What do they consider to be their best quality? What actually is their best quality?

he’d say his compassion and patience. i’d say the same, along with his capacity for real, genuine empathy, and consideration for virtually all life. his first instinct is never to attack, but to deescalate and if need be, incapacitate.

Buddy of mine had a similar issue. Where he was /spit on for helping someone kill a similar mob. I don’t get people sometimes. Are they just returning to the game after all the changes that have happened and don’t realize that you can share mobs?

I honestly don’t know.   A guildmate was having difficulties with people following them around and mooching quest mobs so at first I thought that’s what this person thought I was doing (I literally ran up, smacked it in the face twice and ran off as it died, and then got the whisper).

I can respect wanting to do things yourself, but I honestly cannot understand wanting so badly to do everything alone that you’d whisper a total stranger and tell them off for helping you.

Next time I’ll just let the fucker die.

What was my muse’s first heartbreak? His first partner being killed on a planet that the draenei visited briefly on during the exodus. It was quick and painless, but it left a hole in Varistus’s heart and him to raise their daughter alone on the new world of Draenor. He still struggles with her memory to this day, as well is their daughter.

What are the ways my muse says ‘I love you’ without actually saying it? For Freiha, she is a simple person to please. Simply showing an interest in her studies, bringing home samples of something that Varistus thinks she may be interested in, or just generally spending time with her. He doesn’t get it do it as often as he would like anymore, but even though the words are not there, they both know.

Does my muse prefer to be asked on a date, or would they rather do the asking? This is Vekuum we’re talking about. He has no reservations about asking someone out if he feels there is an inkling of interest from the other party. And, given that this IS Vekuum, when is their not interest, right?

What are my muse’s requirements for a potential partner? Confidence, strength, and the ability to laugh at his jokes and not roll their eyes too much. That, and a whole lot of stamina.
