i just keep thinking about og bloodline zakoa. all the headcanon possibilities.

sami sees solo and he sees someone quiet, someone strong, someone loyal, someone inexplicably sad all the time. that's what he sees first. but with the sheer amount of time sami spends with the bloodline, he sees so much more than that.

he sees the usos picking on solo every chance they get, he sees roman ordering solo around like a bodyguard, hears them all barely ever acknowledge that solo's a part of the family and not just the guard dog. he also sees solo's sarcastic side, the little jokes he makes when he's only trying to make himself laugh, the way he clings to everything he owns like it'll disappear any second now, the way he doesn't even bother asking for help, the way no one offers it. he sees the snacks solo prefers, the way he frowns when he tastes something he doesn't like, the way he clings to his own clothes every time the lights go out, as if resisting the urge to cling to someone else. every subtle gesture of distress, hidden to near perfection as if he's afraid of his own family exploiting any potential weakness.

sami notices the small things. he can't help it. and he does what he can. he mentions solo whenever he can, tries to include him in the conversation. checks in on him after fights. buys the snacks that he likes, quietly reminds him that he doesn't have to eat the ones he doesn't. asks roman if he can keep a small light on, y'know, just because he wants to read before going to sleep. but he feels solo's gaze on him, finding that light like a moth, staring at it when he drifts off, the image of sami zayn comfortingly visible.

Sami x Solo - All The Stars ⭐️

The road stretched endlessly before them, dark asphalt illuminated only by the soft glow of the headlights. The sky above was infinite, speckled with stars that shimmered like scattered diamonds across a midnight canvas.

Sami sat in the passenger seat, fingers tapping idly against the rolled-down window, letting the cool night air graze his skin. The breeze sent a chill through him, but he didn’t move to close it. He liked the feeling—it reminded him that he was here, that this was real.

Beside him, Solo gripped the wheel with one hand, his other resting lazily against his thigh. He was always like this—calm, unbothered, unreadable. But tonight, something felt different. The energy between them was heavier than usual.

They had been driving in silence for a while now, letting the sounds of the slightly worn tires and the occasional glare of streetlights fill the space between them. Neither of them had spoken about why they were out here, why they had chosen tonight to escape. But they didn’t need to.

Solo finally broke the silence.

“You ever think about where we’ll be in ten years?”

Sami blinked, caught off guard by the question. “What do you mean?”

Solo kept his eyes on the road, his jaw tightening slightly. “Like… after all this. Wrestling. The Bloodline. The business. You ever think about what comes next?”

Sami exhaled, tilting his head back against the seat, eyes drifting toward the night sky. “Yeah. All the time.”

“And?”

Sami’s lips curled into a small smile. “I don’t know. I just want to be somewhere… where it doesn’t feel like we’re constantly fighting to prove something. Just existing, you know?”

Solo hummed, a slow nod of agreement. “Yeah. I feel that.”

The silence returned, but now it carried something else. A feeling of wondering. A shift in the dynamic between them.

Sami glanced at him. “What about you? What do you want?”

Solo was quiet for a long moment, the kind of silence that made Sami’s stomach twist in anticipation.

“You.”

Sami’s breath caught in his throat.

His fingers curled slightly against his knee, his pulse hammering in his ears.

“Solo…”

He never expected Solo to be the one to initiate things.

“Nah, don’t look at me like that,” Solo muttered, his voice rough, almost uncertain—a rare thing for him. “I ain’t got time for bullshit, Sami. I don’t do shit unless I mean it. And I mean this.”

Sami let out a breathless chuckle, shaking his head. “You don’t have to be good with words. I talk enough for both of us.”

Solo smirked at that, his shoulders relaxing. “Yeah. That you do.”

But Sami wasn’t going to let him off the hook that easily. “So what do you feel?”

Solo’s fingers flexed against the wheel before he spoke again, voice softer now. “You ever look up at the stars and feel like some of them belong to you?”

Sami’s brows furrowed. “What?”

“Like, out of all the stars in the sky,” Solo continued, “there’s one or two that you just know were meant for you. They shine different. Feel different.”

Sami turned his head toward him, realization settling deep in his chest.

Solo finally looked back at him. “That’s what you are to me, Sami.”

Sami felt his throat go dry, his heart hammering against his ribs.

At that moment, the radio turned on, music filling the car. As if it was on cue..

“Love, let’s talk about love. Is it anything and everything you hoped for? Or do the feeling haunt you? I know the feeling haunt you.”

Sami swallowed hard, his body buzzing with electricity.

“Pull over,” he whispered.

Solo’s brows knit together. “What?”

“Pull over,” Sami repeated, stronger this time. “Now.”*

Solo hesitated for a beat before engaging the turn signal and easing the car onto the side of the empty highway.

The engine stilled softly as Solo shifted into park, the music still playing in the background.

Sami turned in his seat, fully facing him now. “Say it again.”

Solo licked his lips, exhaling sharply. “I want you, Sami.”*

That was it. That was all he needed.

“This may be the night that my dreams might let me know, All the stars are closer, All the stars are closer..”

Sami surged forward, fingers tangling in the front of Solo’s hoodie as he kissed him.

The impact was everything he wanted it to be.

Solo let out a soft groan, immediately responding, one hand cupping the back of Sami’s head, the other gripping his waist, pulling him closer. The car felt too small for them, the air pressure was turning into exhilaration, the heat between them undeniable.

“Damn,” Solo muttered against his lips, his voice rough, breathless. “You been waiting for this?”

“Yeah,” Sami admitted, forehead pressed against Solo’s. “Yeah, I have.”

Solo smirked, his grip tightening. “Then don’t stop now.”*

Sami shivered at the challenge in his voice. “I wasn’t planning on it.”

He kissed him again, slower this time, taking his time to feel everything. The way Solo’s lips moved against his, the way his breath stopped when Sami slid his hands over his shoulders, the warmth of his skin beneath his hoodie.

When they finally pulled apart, Sami was breathless, his forehead still pressed against Solo’s.

“Still thinking about the universe, Sami?” Solo murmured, teasing.

Sami let out a shaky laugh. “No. I think I just found something more important to focus on.”

Solo hummed in approval, fingers tracing lazy hearts against Sami’s thigh. “Good.”

The stars above them shined brighter, but neither of them were looking anymore.

Because all the stars are closer..

Sami and Solo had brought you to a WWE RAW show, since you wanted to go since you were little.

But due to just the loudness backstage, you ended up hiding in their locker room, tears streaming down your face.

"Yo, Uce. Why didn't you throw your hoodie like usual?" Solo questioned Sami.

"I.. Don't know, something just felt off tonight. I kept it incase.." Sami said.

Suddenly, the two saw Finn Balor rush towards them

"Sami,Solo. You've got to go see Y/N! She's a mess- I think the loudness got to 'er." Finn said with heavy breaths.

Sami and Solo nodded, and rushed to the locker room. To see you.

You were curled up on the bench, Crying your eyes out. The noise was simply too much for you.

"Aww... Honey... it's alright." Solo assured you

"N-No it's not... I came here to watch Sami's big match, and missed out..." You sniffled

The one thing, that Sami noticed. Is that when you panicked. You took off your hoodie since it was always a texture/sensory problem.

Sami put his hoodie on you, the fabric engulfing your features, the only visible parts of your body being your legs and face.

You were still a sobby little mess.

But there was one thing that made the night better. Sami let you wear your headphones. And let you walk out with him to the ring.

Finn let you do the same since Solo didn't have a match that night.

You and the Hoodie and headphones, approached the ring with Finn and the rest of the Judgement Day, to announce who was the new women's champion-

You were a wrestler for WWE, so Finn gave you the title. For being very brave-.
