I hope we get a segment between the usos and solo next monday because there’s so much story with them that’s barely been touched on. Jimmy hasn’t whooped his ass enough for being the reason that he had to sit on the shelf for 6 months, betraying him and aligning with roman in June 2023, and cheating him out of the US title last year.
Jey’s a little more complicated because there isn’t as much beef between him and solo. Obviously solo cost him the undisputed title and tribal chief status, but there’s not much besides that. However, solo’s character is very similiar to 2023-24 jey. They both got over when their families abandoned them and then the crowds loved them and pushed for opportunities. The difference between solo and jey is that jey saw the entire movie to the end. He’s seen the heights of popularity and the hell it brings when people decide they don’t like you anymore. He could want to save solo from dealing with all of that before it takes over him the way it did to jey. However much they want to pull from the real life shit (stalking, obsessive hate tweeting, threats, etc) is up to them, but it’d make for a great story!
I think there was a little of that. With Solo mentioning all of the things Jey has done on his own since leaving the Bloodline. It's also not lost on me that when Jey confronted Solo in 2024, that Solo said he always wanted Jey with him. He kicked Jimmy out, he saw Roman as unfit after Mania 40. So it stands to reason that for Solo, he does see something in Jey that he doesn't see in everyone else.
I also think for Jey, he can see the up and down reception that Solo has had since leaving Roman's shadow. The same people cheering him now are the same people who were chanting "Fuck you, Solo!" at every show and during every promo. Blaming him for ruining Cody's first title reign. Saying he sucks and downing him the same way they do Jey now. It wouldn't be far-fetched for Jey to see the bigger picture and know that fan support is fleeting and based on narrative instead of actual support. And also the fact that once Solo is actually rewarded, the same people will turn on him. Because that's how wrestling fans work.
Solo and Jimmy definitely have unfinished business that I'd like to see addressed. I still feel like no one should've taken that title off Solo except Jimmy and it's a shame that it didn't work out that way.
As for Roman and Jacob, I've seen the theories that Solo and Jacob will team up and to me, that doesn't make sense. For one, no one made Jacob approach Roman. He did that on his own. He also decided to act a fool and got jumped for it. Jacob brought all of this on himself. Jimmy and Jey warned him and he didn't listen. He should've just challenged Cody like Jimmy told him to. As for Solo, Jacob turned on Solo. Why would Solo try and save someone who turned their back on him? Does that make sense? It doesn't make sense to me.
Jey leaning onto Jimmy and holding onto his shirt for dear life 😂 They’re so cutie
What is personal space? They don't know it 😭
"It's you vs. the Bloodline"
In WHAT world? Roman said don't touch him, there have been NO INTERFERENCE in Roman's matches. I'm almost to the point where I need someone to get jumped since people keep making up things about it happening even though it hasn't.
STOMP SOME PEOPLE OUT SINCE EVERYONE WANTS IT SO BAD
Nobody ever talks about how badly they squashed the usos, and especially jey’s, momentum, so I feel crazy for thinking it. I just don’t get why they use him as a catchphrase merchant now and don’t at least give him a proper storyline. All these losses aren’t leading to anything either.
Between the hate from certain content creators, which poisoned the well when it came to his original push, and the way they've smoothed out all his edges, Jey's gonna have to do something drastic to really claw his way back up.
Jimmy, it's only a matter of finally pulling the trigger and sticking with it. Jimmy needs a real feud to sink his teeth into.
I wish this Bloodline run was more about doing what Roman originally said, which was giving them something more important to do than tag teaming and being used as sidekicks for other people. BUT, Baldy is determined to make them look bad. And judging by the tags, a lot of people end up falling for it.
So is Jacob going to join forces with Solo against Jey, Jimmy and Roman? Because thats the vibe I’m getting.
