The packages, because there were multiple, had been told that the best place to deliver them was most days at 14:12 at this particular intersection. They had come to understand that though united under guilds most hunters had their own ‘thing’ and they were curious what this persons would be.

Dear Sammy Keels,

Hello, my name is Thera Wendell and I am the owner of the Crow & Chalice on the other side of town. I suspect your boss Kanta Shah has a file on me somewhere. Kanta has been in an accident. Don’t be alarmed, but he has been in a coma since the 22 of May. I have been taking care of them and will be continuing to do so. I have done work with the Brotherhood before and am aware that this is unconventional but please be assured they are in good hands.

Sammy, I am sure he has put together some sort of protocol in case they ever did go missing, please follow whatever instructions they have left. I know they have put their trust in you in the past and I know you will do right by that trust. I’m sure one of these instructions will probably be to report this to the Brotherhood. If they have questions feel free to send them in my direction. Do not let them give you any grief.

I am so sorry that you have been thrust into the middle of this Sammy. Know that you have a friend and ally in me should you need it. Anything I can reasonably do for you please always feel free to ask. Whether it be with this matter or any other.

It took very little effort to scale the wall that held the camera facing the box where the Berserker leadership had currently set up shop. Murder was nothing new to Ha-Jeong, the page from Kali to keep an eye on the Berserker pack and Clan Pembroke even more familiar.

She slipped her lip gloss out of a compartment in her dress, though the tube didn’t hold anything resembling the red shade that tinted Ha-Jeong’s lips. A quick cut and the camera was no longer functional, a quick insertion of a flash drive that materialized and Ha-Jeong had the feed that had been on the camera prior to its cut cord.

She dropped to the floor then without making a sound. The beginning of a longer information gathering session. As she slipped out the door she eyed two girls from Mariposa scampering past. Two of the girls that had been a part of the frog incident prior that evening. Her eyes followed them as she went to slip the other way, ears strained to pick up the tail end of their hushed conversation.

That’s when the boy materialized, “씨발” rushed out of her lips as she slipped past the boy barely escaping from running into him.
