I’ve been trying to get my cat more mental stimulation since she only likes chasing feather toys and only by hand not mechanical toys and I can’t do that ALL DAY but she LOVES watching bird feeder livestreams and I’ve never seen her chatter before till we started making this a part of our daily routine and her little ekekekek gives me LIFE.

Also it’s her first birthday on the 30th!!! 🥰

Oh my god she’s so majestic. I would vote for her in an honest election. That’s just a fluffy baby right there. I need to pet her so bad. Happy early birthday to her!

this month flew by with a ton of social events lol - too many tbh

everything has really only just died down with that--jsut in time for work to start to heat up, but i think it should be less busy for the net month and i can get back on my usual schedule.

Well...Let's say I've made peace with my legal name. I've made it my own. I hated it growing up because I got picked on a LOT, by both family and the kids at school. So you can imagine how that went. So, I don't mind it now. But no derivatives. I don't mind shortening it. But I've grown to enjoy my chosen, online name.

Okay but seriously I found one fic where they wrote Lucifer’s dialogue like it was Mammon and I was HORRIFIED. Immediate close.

That being said thinking about Luci saying OI HUMAN! made me ugly snort. Like that one chat where Asmo and Lucifer’s voices and texting styles got swapped by Solomon.

I just binge read A Botanist’s Guide all the way through and it’s so good!!! The emotional development is really well paced, and I can definitely relate to Cassie’s constant overthinking and enthusiasm about learning about the new planet. Her going absolutely ape for an aquarium is 1000000% The Vibe.

I'm so glad you're enjoying it! I'm always anxious over my pacing, whether it's a one-shot or multiple chapters, so I'm glad to hear people are liking it! I can never tell when I'm going too fast or too slow, and re-reading things over and over doesn't help, lol.

I wanted Cassie to come across as a giant nerd, as most scientists are exactly that (myself included hah). I forced myself to nix a few scenes/conversations of worldbuilding for sake of overall flow, as the original plan for this chapter was a whole day in the city then an evening drive back. I basically cut the entire day in half because it was getting out of hand, oops (I just enjoy writing these two dweebs too much). But I'll try to jam the conversations in somewhere else, because I had a blast writing them.
