Have a write-up on @zuru.xshot coming up, but wanted to get the new Turbo Advance in first! I received the yellow one before, but then the line got refreshed with new colors and supposedly new mechanics, we will see by how much. The labels claim the same, but according to a new release with the new colors there will be a few tweaks during the design process. Continuing to be one of the most cost-friendly lines out there, the #ZuruXshot blasters definitely come with a lot of ammo per purchase. Some #nerfwar #gameplay video from yesterday's #hauntedhouse. I played a lot of games in more open areas, so the close quarters, rooms and hallways of this place were a welcome change of pace. Messing around with the @buzzbeetoys #barbarian today... And I am ambivalent about it. Already this is a pump-fired (slamfire) blaster (and more on that in the full review), the trigger is a faux trigger. There's a bit more of a wrinkle to it firing than I thought too. Interesting bit is the double drum setup is removable, it's not a one and done deal. Multiple barbarians = multiple reloads (or however you acquire additional drums.) Still have to do a range test, but assembly and hot take is complete. @dartzoneblasters continues to push their way into the market, this time with the Super Commando Gatling blaster set. On Amazon, comes with two belts, targets, and needs 6 AA batteries to work. #sampleprovided by Dart Zone, and probably another flywheel/chained blaster that is definitely worth the cost in performance and range. Thanks to @backyardblasters for the #sampleprovided! Looks like it is stylized after a 1911, which is pretty neat. This is a single shot pistol, with 2 darts stored in the handle. Front loading, too. It's still a liiiiittle too cold in IL to try this out, but kinda looking forward to giving this a go when the weather heats up.
