Hey! So I felt like this was an appropriate place to share this thought- Gen putting up 3 new photos of Shep for his birthday kind of puts a dent in the (already flimsy as hell) excuse of J2GD googling/sharing old photos for things because they are "very private". You'd think they'd be more private about their kids than their wives that have chosen public eye (acting) careers...
Hi! You made a very good point here, thank you! tbh I didn’t buy that explanation before, but maybe I’m a bit biased, the story about how ‘private’ they’re is a bit like a joke?

Here are my answers to the lovely @samsdemonbro ‘s questions.
(Hey, what the hell, I’m not following you already? I was sure I was! *follows right away*)
Apologies for my English. Hope everything makes sense. I’m gonna blame any misunderstanding on English not being my first language :P
1) Favorite music cue?
CCR’s “Bad Moon Rising” in 1x22 “Devil’s Trap”. It just screams that something bad’s gonna happen. Best music choice ever.
2) Favorite opener/ one that did the best job of hooking you into the episode?
1x12 “Faith”. I’m a hurt!Dean junkie, so I was hooked right away XD
3) Any episodes you hate, or have made you consider stop watching the show, or made you wish you could?
Ooooh, any episode in carvernatural makes me consider to stop watching the show, ever since season8 and the Sam not loking for Dean nonsense– but it actually got worse through the latest seasons. No episode makes sense anymore, but I still cling to that teeny tiny hope that somehow the show will go back to what it was. I’m a masochist XD
If I had to choose the worst episode, the one that made me think “if this is the new level the show has fallen down to I’m gonna quit”, I’d say 10x05. I fucking hated the musical.
4) Meg 1.0, Meg 2.0, Ruby 1.0, or Ruby 2.0?
I loved Meg 1.0 cause she was pure evil, and Ruby 1.0 cause she made me doubt, like is she good? is she evil? I was never sure, and I loved that.
The 2.0 versions weren’t as much interesting in my opinion– good Meg was a waste of a great character, to me. I’m gonna pick Meg 1.0, cause I miss true villains.
5) Who’s story do you wish we’d seen more of/ who was gone too soon?
John Winchester. Oh, God, I’d pay true money (well, if I had any) to have a good writer show me his story, his beginnings as a hunter, the way he tried to make hunting and parenting fit together, and did his best to do both– but somehow it was never enough, and he was doomed to fail right from the start.
But I don’t wanna see him in Carver’s hands. Oh, please, save him from Carver’s inadequate hands!
6) Which brother did you think would be your favorite/that you would relate to more when you started watching the show? Did that change, and if so what was the turning point?
I started watching Supernatural for Jared, whom I had a huge crush on since Gilmore Girls (don’t judge me, the guy is smoking hot!). Then, right from the pilot, I fell in love with Dean’s character, cause he’s the one I can relate the most to. Seriously, sometimes it’s scary how much we are alike.
I was ready to call myself a deangirl, but then 1x12 happened, and I realized I didn’t love one brother more than the other: I love them both for different reasons, and I could never choose just one.
7) Do you have any opinions or headcanons about the show that have changed drastically?
I’m always wary with headcanons, cause I tend to stick strictly with canon as much as I can. When the show contraddicts my headcanon, it usually is for some mistake on the writers’ part (yeah, Carver, I’m looking at you, I’m always looking at you), so… I just ignore what the show said. And yeah, I’m talking about the boys’ childhood, which gets more and more nonsense with every new episode (Sam believing the Easter Bunny till he was eleven? When he found out about Santa Claus at eight?)
8) If you had to sum up Sam Winchester in 3 words?
Caring. Smart. Brother.
9) If you had to sum up Dean Winchester in 3 words?
Big brother (this totally counts as one). Loyal. Brave.
10) If you could pick one show/movie fandom to have SPN crossover with, which would it be?
Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I know, it’s been said already, but these shows beg to become one– or they would if Buffy hadn’t been referenced to as a TV show inside Supernatural. Still, it would be an awesome crossover.
Another one I would like to see crossover with SPN is NCIS: the marine thing would be a beautiful tie with John.
11) If you had 3 episodes to get someone hooked on Supernatural, which ones would you show them?
In My Time of Dying, All Hell Breaks Loose (part I and II), On The Head of a Pin.
These are some of the best written episodes in the whole series, and they can give a newcomer a good feel of what the show is about. Or, you know, what it was about till 5x22. I would totally prevent any new fan from watching post-Kripke seasons, for their own good.
Oh, God, I rant way too much against Carver XD
And now my 11 questions for @arial86, @goyour-own-way, @sharewithmeyourpoem, @spn-metal-gear, @winsynced, @lovingsmutandfluff and since I don’t know who else to tag I’m gonna leave it open to whomever is interested.
1) Best character. Not necessarily your favourite one, just the one you think was really well written.
2) Worst character. Again, not necessarily one you hate, just one you think was badly written
3) Favourite episode and why.
4) Favourite monster.
5) Favourite angel (aside Castiel, if you like him)
45. just done :)49. How old were you when you found out that Santa wasn’t real? I know I was in elementary school but I’m not sure the exact age. All I remember was I couldn’t tell the other kids and it was haaard for me to keep my big ol mouth shut :D
samsdemonbro replied to your post “As much as I’ve praised the acting from Jensen this ep, there are...”
I would say Jensen is solid throughout tho. And jdm is pretty amazing as well. Jim beaver had a few awkward bits, and I'd say jarpads acting had room for improvement all through the first couple seasons tbh. Still impressive tho.
I kinda felt a few awkward spots for JDM too, actually. Only in a few scenes though. The one I think of immediately is when Dean’s holding a gun on YED!John and contemplating whether or not to shoot, some of the lines there are shaky imo. Otherwise, JDM does a great job. I especially like his YED stuff. But I agree about Jim Beaver and Jared. Jensen and Nicki were pretty spot on for the most part. Jared just had a few odd lines, but that was p much the case for the early seasons, you’re right. And Jim... well I think he might have just not had a total feel of the character yet or something. A lot of his lines feel fake this ep in a way they don’t in subsequent eps of the series. Both he and Jared really pick it up later on. Overall, this episode is still awesome sauce, though. Idk for some reason I was picking up on the rocky parts way more this week haha
samsdemonbro replied to your post “Fuck this shit okay. Fuck season 1 and all of its awesomeness. No I’m...”
We are one. Let's hug and cry about Winchesters.
Let’s. Please. I need hugs and chocolate and puppies right now. Goddamit Winchesters I can’t deal with yall. Altho Kripke’s the real culprit here, toying with our hearts... ugh T_T
