“Can I help you?” Samantha looked up as the door opened, making her jump. She hadn’t tidied everything away after self defence classes yet, instead had taken a break to sit in the room alone and just read.

“ I nearly got run over by a lady with a shopping cart today. My life actually flashed before my eyes as she squished me up against the condiments shelfing in the grocery store. Honestly If it hadn’t have been for the store clerk I could have died.” Sam said with a small chuckle. “All I wanted was some hot dog buns and instead I was wedged between ketchup and mustard. Now I know how the hot dogs feel.” He gave a small snort of laughter and sighed. “ Anyway enough about the dramatic turn in my day, how are you?”
