Samtember Day 11: Multilingual
The local wildlife console Sam over the loss of Redwing in tfatws.
It's "Multilingual" because this happened in Germany. So they're speaking bird-German.

Sam's eyes opened when he heard a voice outside their bedroom door.
"Papa? Daddy?" Their 4-year-old's tiny voice called out.
Sam was immediately out of the bed and at the door. He opened it and found Riley standing there with her purple blanky trailing behind her and her Captain America teddy bear in her other hand. The thing came with a plush version of Sam's wings and everything. Riley adored it.
"What's wrong, baby girl?" Sam asked as he knelt on the floor in front of her.
"I had a nightmare," Riley mumbled as she hugged her Cap bear close to her chest. "Can I sleep with you guys?" She asked with a pout.
"Is she okay?"
Sam turned around to face Bucky, who was now sitting up on the bed with concern written all over his face.
"She had a nightmare," Sam replied as he picked up the 4-year-old and carried her to their bed, and put her in the middle. "She wants to sleep here tonight."
"Oh, yeah, of course." Bucky moved to make more space for the little one. "Princess, do you wanna tell us what the nightmare was about?" He continued to ask.
"The monster under my bed tried to get me," Riley replied, pouting once again.
"Princess, we checked under your bed before bedtime. There's--"
Bucky stopped when Sam shook his head, warning Bucky against invalidating what Riley had to say.
"Okay, go to sleep, baby girl. It's really late." Sam changed the topic and leaned down to kiss Riley's forehead.
"I can't sleep," Riley announced, blinking up at Sam. "Can you tell me a story?"
"Hmmm..." Sam trailed off. "Okay, I've got one. How about a prince who chased another prince halfway across the world?" He looked up at Bucky and smirked.
"Maybe the other prince was in trouble..." Bucky huffed.
"No, the other prince just liked to annoy the first prince," Sam retorted.
"Boys, no fighting!" Riley scolded them.
"Boys?" Sam asked, raising an eyebrow at Riley.
"That's what aunty Sarah says when she wants you to stop fighting," Riley replied proudly. "Now tell me the story!"
"Wow, so demanding," Bucky commented.
"Yeah, demanding little girls don't get stories," Sam told her seriously. But then a grin broke out across his lips as he wiggled his fingers and said, "They get the tickle monster!" Sam brought his fingers down to her sides and tickled her.
"Papa, nooooooo!" Riley squealed. She giggled and tried to get away from his hands.
And just like that, Sam knew she had forgotten about her nightmare.
