It had been a busy few months; between the start of the year, the trip to New Orleans, celebrating St. Patrick's Day and Easter, and then rolling right into the busy season at work, Rafael felt like sometimes, he didn't have the time to sit back and breathe. But, then he remembered who he was, and he made the time to sit back and breathe. And to eat good food with friends, which was why he had shot off a text message to Samuel, to find out if he had the time to get together for the pizza that he had promised him. Thankfully, when they managed to find a date that worked for both of them, plans were set in stone and he found himself standing in his kitchen, towel draped over his shoulder, glass of wine in hand as he waited for the food to cook. A buzz from his front door let him know that someone was there, stepping to the wall to press the button on the panel, "it's open, come on up."
Library Tour | Sarai & Samuel

Perhaps it wasn’t exactly the right time for the library tour, so close on the heels of the storm. However, Sarai had arranged it before the storm, and had spent as much time as possible in the interim working to assist those in her house who needed it. On her part, she was sure that she would benefit from a moment of pleasure, and she assumed Samuel felt the same way since he had agreed to continue with the tour.
She waited for him outside the chateau and took a step forward as he arrived. “Good afternoon, Samuel. How are you?”
