PART 1- THE BASICS
“Welcome. Please, take a seat, make yourself comfortable. Tea? Oh, no, don’t worry, this won’t be made public. Why? Do you have something to hide?”
“Please, don’t make me laugh”
What is your full name?
Samuel Forester, some may call me Sam or Sammy, but it is mostly Samuel.
Where and when were you born?
At my house, naturally, as you’d expect from the family of the town’s doctor. Oh! And April 11th. Yes. Sorry.
Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
My father is Doctor Forester, who you probably know. He likes to help people, as you would assume, and hope for. Mother? She is a very pious woman, always at church on Sundays. I’m sure Father Valentin is probably sick of her by now.
Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
I do! Well, there’s Zach- Zachariah. He has an incredible brain, and amazing knowledge. Very good at problem solving and brain picking, and a great doctor. Ebenezer, Benny, is probably one of the funniest people you’d encounter. I don’t recall having one dull conversation with him in my 23 years on this earth. Then there’s Leah, whom I adore. Books are her passion, and I can relate. She is so kind, and understanding, it is irritating how good she is (I joke, of course, I don’t think Leah possesses the skill to irritate), then of course, my younger sister, she was a ray of sunshine up until recently. Understandably so, if I may be honest. She is having a rough time.
Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
Still at home, with the rest of my family. My room is quite humble, and there’s a little windowsill on which you can sit. One of my favourite things to do is to sit there during dusk and read the latest book I have purchased.
What is your occupation?
Well… um.. I would like to say I’m a doctor, although I’m not yet one, like my father or like Zachariah. Maybe one day. Maybe sooner than we think..
Write a bit about your physical appearance. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.
Well, I am of average height, very slim (according to my mother, probably too slim). I am of East Asian descent, my hair and eyes are brown, and my hair can get a little shaggy and unruly if I don’t take care of it, or early in the morning. I do not have any tattoos, but I have some vague scars on my knees from falling and scraping them often as a child.
To which social class do you belong?
Middle class, although some might say upper-middle.
Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
I do not! In fact, I try to keep as healthy as I can.
Are you right- or left-handed?
Right handed, although I have tried writing with my left quite often. It doesn’t look as horrendous as it did when I started practicing with it, so I’m proud of that.
What does your voice sound like?
Speaking in music terms, Baritone, I suppose? Not too high, but definitely not low. I would say it’s a nice to listen to voice.
What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
Well, you tell me. I don’t usually spend my time analysing my own speech, although I probably should, considering how I tend to ramble at times. Sorry about that, by the way.
What do you have in your pockets?
Not a lot, some pieces of paper from various encounters, about things I needed to remember. I mostly keep everything in my bag, where I have at least one book, and my notebook and a pen.
Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
I used to bite my nails as a child, a habit I stopped doing, but instead I often pick at the skin around my nails. Mostly without noticing I’m doing so.
