I have to say, it's really nice seeing the improvements in the way you draw the human figure.

Oh thank you! Yes indeed, it’s also very fun seeing my improvement for myself over the years, especially because I started drawing digitally for HnK! Even in two years (sketches below are 2018 vs 2020) the experiences and skills I’ve learned and practiced had truly bloomed... I wonder where I’d be in another two years?

I also notice that you have been one of my first followers too! Thank you so much for the endless support, I hope my content continues to provide peace during these trying times<3

I'm curious, have you ever thought of picking up digital painting?

I’ve done it a few times actually! The program I use to digitally draw is super flexible since it has so many effects and brushes- you can even create your own. A couple of my Antarcphos sketches have backgrounds that are either partially or fully digitally painted- it’s an art form I’m still unused to and need practice in.

For now I keep my art style rather flat as to make my doodling easier and more efficient. Every once in a while though, if I get the motivation and time, I’m sure you’ve seen how often I experiment and how my full effort sketches come out in so many different styles.

My apologies for getting the follower spotlight out so late! A lot of things have been going on but I haven’t forgotten about it~

So these three! They haven’t done anything special persay- but they all are some of my first followers and they still support me with the likes and reblogs they continue to do to this day. Unlike the first three back in March- they haven’t messaged or sent asks or anything like that but they were just there to see my content, which means more than you may think.

Holy hell, you pulled out all the stops in those inks! How long did take you to complete them?

When I first joined the zine, I immediately began work. I initially completed them in the first month, but since the process of the zine was ongoing for multiple months- I kept going back and redoing them- adding more and more details and patterns based on feedback I’ve gotten from the other contributors. I kinda wanted them to be as perfect as possible for the zine- so I took all the time I could to make them what they are!

Except for the third sheet- that one was a “rejected” WIP that I finished anyways- hence why it lacks a lot of the detail the first two have pfff.
