Last month I got a chance to meet some of the primary school teachers of Imizamo Yhetu township here in Cape Town. Not only do these women work so hard to care for the kids in the community but they also work harder to get young girls and boys off the streets. Away from drugs, violence and prostitution. Today I got to meet Blessing, a shoemaker in Cape Town. Blessing has been making shoes for past 7 years. He was busy making boots for one of his clients. Life in Kilombero sugarcane farms, it's simply beautiful, living here you have to learn your way around, there are no road signs, it's like riding in a huge maze. He asked the owner it he could climb on the horse. The owner carried him up and told him not to move, so he sat there very still, not even a blink for about 2 minutes.
