Hey, y’all! I’m back for the last day of SWAW! I don’t know about you guys but I’ve had a lot of fun! Sometime soon, within the next week, I’m going to be searching through the tag and probably liking/reblogging lots of photo sets and gif sets from you guys because I’ve just been so busy this past week that I haven’t had time to, but I’m sure there are so many awesome sets out that dedicated to the wonderful Sam Winchester.

Sam Winchester Appreciation Week- Day 6 (Favourite Episode)

It’s 7.17 (The Born-Again Identity).

Sam is locked in the psychiatric ward with a veritable catalogue of hellish memories and sensations for company. He’s too tired to even be angry at Dean or Castiel, the people responsible for his plight. His body is only moments away from shutting down altogether when he catches this young girl desperately in need of some help.

He recognizes skittish when he sees it. So he approaches cautiously. Empathy, sincerity, honest truths- those’re what he offers to gain her trust. Then, with faltering mind and body, he frees her from her brother’s vengeful spirit.

Drained to the dregs and yet striving to help, not expecting anything back. Sam Winchester, people. Our beautiful overachiever is strong, selfless and smart right to the point of no return.

I’ve never been prouder to call myself his fan than in this particular episode.
