You are giddy like a kid when you walk into the bedroom you share with your alpha. This is his birthday, a special one, and you want it to be perfect.

“Happy fortieth birthday, Sam,” you coo as your mate slowly blinks his eyes open. "Did you sleep well, baby? How are you feeling now that you have turned forty?”

"I can still chase you around the library and take down any monster," he grumbles, realizing he is forty. "Winchesters are not getting older, they are getting better."

You chuckle at Sam’s serious expression. It seems like he constantly tries to impress you. "My tall and strong alpha," you say with a wink. I bet you can still bend me over any surface to ruin me.”

He grins now. His features darken, and you know he’ll ruin you as soon as the surprise party you planned is over. “I’ll ruin this sweet pussy tonight.”

As you point your finger at him, you say, "Not yet. I have a plan for your birthday, Samuel Winchester. You will have breakfast in bed with me. Later Dean will make lunch for us all."

Sam smirks as you excitedly tell him about every detail of the day you planned. His heart beats a little faster as you step toward the bed to wrap your arms around his neck to kiss him softly. “I know you planned a party too.”

“Only a few friends will come around, baby. I know you don’t like parties very much,” you whisper against his lips. “We have all day to ourselves, alpha.”

Sam gently cups your face with his large hands. “How about you get back into bed now? I want to spend more time with you alone. Dean already sneaked into the room to call me an old man.”

You sigh when Sam wraps his arms around you and lies down. “You’re not old, Sam. Just look at you. Tall. Strong. Sexy. The perfect alpha. My gentle giant.”

You lie on top of your alpha, enjoying his closeness. “Hmm…that’s perfect. A comfortable bed. My omega in my arms. Dean trying to get the pink color out of his hair.”

“Wait! Dean has pink hair?” You lift your head to look at Sam. “What did you do?”

“Nothing,” he grins. "After Dean called me old, I sneaked into the bathroom and put something in his shampoo. His hair will be bright pink for a while."

“Pranking your brother on your birthday,” you chuckle. “I guess it’s already a perfect day for you."

“It’s a perfect day because you are here with me, baby,” Sam pecks your hair. “All I need is you in my arms.” He grins. “And maybe prank my brother...”
