Completely handmade from start to finish, these colorful cards are crafted in Kenya by mothers with disabled children. The artists use local waste vegetation such as banana tree bark skins, sugar cane, shed eucalyptus bark, nettles and pumpkin leaves. These materials get beaten along with old cotton tags into a pulp which is pulled into paper sheets.
