Día Internacional del Comercio Justo 2026

¡El pasado sábado celebramos el Día Internacional del Comercio Justo!

Desde 2002 y por iniciativa de la Organización Mundial de Comercio Justo se conmemora este día para destacar el poder del modelo de comercio justo o “fair trade”, su impacto positivo sobre las vidas de las personas y comunidades.

Este 2026 el lema es la revolución empresarial o #BusinessRevolution con un enfoque en nuestro planeta para mostrar que los modelos de negocio de las empresas no son neutros. Se trata de reimaginar el modo de hacer los negocios para encaminarlos hacia el bien común. Es un llamamiento urgente al equilibrio, en un sistema económico que prioriza el beneficio económico antes de las personas y el planeta.

Un nuevo modelo se basaría en economías locales, cadenas de valor más reducidas, beneficios sostenibles, equilibrio de las personas y del planeta, justicia e inclusividad, y producción y consumo que respeten los límites planetarios.

Por ello, en este día, abogamos por modelos de negocio justos, la acción colectiva por un cambio de sistema y la protección de la vida en el planeta. En un sistema sano, estos pilares no deberían afectar negativamente al negocio, sino fomentarlo.
