Cuz like LGBT leanings are much more widely accepted in people of a lower social status and while being gay isn't outright bad it's kinda like... ???? I can't think of the word but higer class people often don't end up in LGBT relationships mostly bc of the importance of heirs BUT polyamory is much more common??? And it's not unheard of for a noble to have a few wives and a husband or vice versa AND THEN FOR LIKE ROYALTY ITS.... largely a focus on monogamy and heterosexuality bc again heirs are important and the person(s) you marry will get a say in the govt so haveingbseveral spouces can get messy and

Jalea: not to particular abt lgb related issues, the royal family though is expected to marry the opposite sex to produce hiers. There isn't any blatant homophobia within the lower classes but it becomes more common in the upper class families though it's largely benign. In terms of gender there isn't much of a focus as they deem ones worth on their abilities in general rather than gender. Radal: very open to LGBT ideals. (They do though suffer from some sexisim against more classically Masculine individuals). They are a culture that holds beauty to a high standard. Homosexuality between women is much more accepted than it is between men, who already have less rights than females. Femininine presenting individuals (either trans or gender fluid/non conforming) do have an easier time in their culture Masfair: fairly homophobic and sexist as a culture. LGBT individuals are on occasion targets of harassment though actual danger to their lives is uncommon. They are a working culture that values strength and so much more of their culture leans towards the masculine. Monogamy is the most common but poly couples aren't unheard of.

Tbh I feel really bad for both Devas and Alvar they are both only 20/22 and they are expected to be these great leaders and have this powder keg of a country slowly being dropped on their shoulders. It's no wonder Alvar shirks his duties and drinks and Devas is irritable and smokes too much. I mean damn I would too

ok so witches in Sandalos are baiscly just animals that either through birth, gifting, or some other manner attain magic and Minstra is one who happens and  Im trying to decide if Minstra should be a Melinistic Deer or a Dove for her animal form ewe

I would like to know about your character named Nadia because my name is Nadia too!

omg im the worst i have been hoarding this in my in box cuz i couldent decide how i wanted to word this 8’D

Anwyay Nadia is one of mycharacters in Sands oOo She is the (rather unwilling) female companion of Devas in the story. In the story she is actually Engaged but for reasons i haven’t quite decided she decides to leave with Devas in order to help him save the world and stuff ewe.

She is very strong willed, stubborn, and has some serious mother hen tendencies when it comes to friends and family. Like she will hover over you if you get sick and force feed you soup and cover you in blankets till you get better. She is kinda like the stabilizer for the more Rash and impulsive character Devas is. She does on occasion have a hard time making decisions but once she does she pretty much wont change her mind unless she is completely forced too XD. A lot of people tend to mistake her for some battle hardened warrior but she is also pretty girly and enjoys looking at jewelry and nice clothes even though she cant afford them.

She also happens to be  a warrior and actually works as a deckhand in her town which is great due to her natural resistance to magic that she inherited from her family line oOo. All her years fighting on ships and unsteady ground makes her a pain to deal with when she is fighting on land because she is substantially more agile and capable of landing harder hits

Body wise Nadia is built like the third lady in and is very /VERY/ Muscular. again a lot of this comes from her work and up bringing. She was raised by  mercenaries and farmers so she spent much of her time working  and hauling things. Later when she got her job as a deck guard/hand she spent a lot of times rigging the sails and fighting off all manner of sea creatures that would occasionally attack the  ships oOo

and uh here is an ugly old draw of Nadia’s face

tbh the only thing that is right is her eyes and hair color 8’D. She keeps her hair short  b/c the salt water makes it break and frizz to much for her to want to deal with it

Um uhh what else OH Nadia never really learned to write or read but that isnt uncommon with the clan she is from since they are more interested in ones physical abilities rather than their mental ones. She can do both but she is rather slow at it

I've been thinking about why Devas carries around that boar mask of his,  And I've come to the conclusion they are actually a fairly common thing to see in Sandalos. The hot dry air makes dust storms from the desert a common thing and the masks are used to protect the eyes, nose, and mouth when they hit.  You see them more  in the northern parts of Sandalos in the plains and esp in desert but not so much in the south due to the humidity and dense trees.

I have all these cool pictures of Devas being all badass in snowy mountains but tbh if they were canon he woul just be pissed off complaining bc he was cold
