Final goddess of Veilen:
Telasa: the Goddess of Flux
how do people even like world building its one of the worst aspects of writing for me.
like wow I get to figure out how taxes are collected and distributed and the logic of a magic system that I also need to balance. how fun.
I just want to make the mc's kiss.
Help! I drank a potion and it made my tits bigger and milk won't stop coming out of them. I also grew horns and a tail what do I do?!
Thank you for contacting the Department of Monster Affairs. This is not an emergency line. If this is an emergency please contact emergency services.
However, to answer your question first the cause must be determined. You said you drank a potion and the changes occurred. There are potions that can cause bodily changes in individuals. Among these are potions that created to cause lactation in those with mammary glands and even some designed to give animal traits which may result in physical features. All of these potions, if approved by the Federal Potion Administration, are temporary physical corruptions and typically fade after a few hours though can last for a couple of days.
Regulated and approved potions are sold by verified witches, alchemists, and in select stores, all of these sellers must have their FPA verification number listed on their website and the official stamp on their products. If the potion you drank does not have the official stamp it is likely you drank an unregulated potion. The effects of these potions can be wide ranging and they either arrive from across the Veil through smuggling or created by novice witches and alchemists. The majority of unregulated potions are still temporary in nature.
There are some unregulated potions that do include highly corruptive components which may led to permanent changes. Additionally, if you drink a regulated potion and then are exposed to corruptive magic - such as being cursed by a demon - the potion may react leading to permanent physical corruption.
Unfortunately, while researchers are looking for a way to reverse these permanent corruptive changes there is no way to do so yet. If you do find that these symptoms do not revert after 4 days please be aware that they may be permanent. If these changes are permanent you can still live a happy and healthy life, you may wish to look into corrupted human support groups. Please be aware for permanent corruption, you will have to update your government documents to reflect your physically corrupted status.
Thank you for contacting the Department of Monster Affairs. If you have any other questions please contact us again.
Hi! It’s been a while since I last posted. My last post was about this new moonflower I made, and I finally settled on a name and design for her! I also drew a few of her moon’s inhabitants.
Let’s introduce our guardian… Mangori! She’s a moonflower who lives on a desert moon. She’s a brave moonflower who does her best to care for her home and its residents. She can sometimes overwork herself unfortunately. :(
Unfortunately, Mangori doesn’t have any alterlings due to an attack from The Big Bad. They sacrificed themselves to drive The Big Bad away. This is mostly why Mangori cares so much about her moon.
Next up, I’ll go over some of her residents briefly!
- The Cactus Plants are sentient cactus plants native to Mangori’s moon. They really like to sunbathe and are rather friendly. Although, they’re not the best at giving hugs…
- Cerriebellum F. is a brain, similar to Basil Ganglia! She’s less egotistical compared to him, but she does like to pride herself on how great she is at flying spacesurfers. Her name is a pun on Cerebellum, which is the part of the brain responsible for movement, coordination, balance, and much more!
- The Flower Sisters consist of Desi and Calla, but they insist there’s so much more of them. Desi is a native of Mangori’s moon, having been the first moon she resided on. Calla, on the other hand, once belonged to another moon before relocating herself to Mangori’s. Desi is based on a Desert Lily while Calla is based on the Calla Lily.
- Lastly, Ray Ruby is a chill camel who watches over The Oasis on Mangori’s moon. He gardens and grows a plentiful amount of fruits. He himself is named after a type of grapefruit!
That’s all for now! Thanks for reading!
Wishing Upon the Shooting Stars thoughts: What about the rest of the world?
This post assumes you have watched through episode 10. If you haven't, and don't want to be spoilered, don't read this post.
@thisonelikesaliens reports there are three timelines. I only see two (the first manifestation of He Xiang Yong's wish didn't change the past, only the future) but let's run with it.
So, pre the stars granting the wish, which I mark as happening in episode 1 when He Xiang Yong's backpack goes over the cliff, apparently removing his ID card, there's all the life decisions that everyone made up to that point. Which included Chen Hao Wei playing basketball in school.
He Xiang Yong still exists, it's just that nobody remembers what he looks like. And because He Xiang Yong still acts like He Xiang Yong and still has his knowledge, Xi Xi and Chen Hao Wei are ultimately able to figure out that he is indeed He Xiang Yong. (Brother Hong knowing He Xiang Yong doesn't count because he's a magical being.) So, any effects on other peoples' lives are going forward: how people act based on their interactions with the characters.
But starting with the end of episode 8, He Xiang Yong doesn't even exist because his parents never married. And unless Chen Hao Wei decided to play basketball because of He Xiang Yong, which I don't remember being the case, resetting the past changed his high school behavior well beyond his interest in He Xiang Yong.
If He Xiang Yong's mom and dad made different decisions before He Xiang Yong would even have been born, that makes it likely that other people made different decisions over time as well.
Is everyone in the world now having vague cellular memories of things they did and people they knew in their original timeline that isn't true of their life now
Cookie World Building Rant Part 4
Naming the End
I've always assume that the reason why cookies put the word 'Cookie' at the end of their name is to separate them from other species so things won't get mixed/messed up, like Pepper Pangolin Cookie and the Pepper Pangolins you see in Burning Spice's story. Because of this I always found it neat how Aurora Candy Cookie just refers to themselves as 'Aurora' when trying to contact Milky Way since they got reported on some train troubles going on at the end of Star Voyage Dining Car, as we don't see many cookies shorten their name like that if I remember/seen so far
The only thing simply to shortening names/lacking 'Cookie' in your names is things nicknames like Silly Vanilly or whatever the spoil milk man beast called Pure Vanilla, and GingerBrave with other Gingers, having no 'Cookie' in their names (probably because they're are the only Ginger[x]s around, plus they probably named themselves like we see with GingerBrave in Witch's Castles). Cookies probably really only leave out the 'Cookie' part for such matters of nicknames, being really specific and probably made up, don't need to narrows down the 'who', and probably when alone, or no need to be as formal (seen someone awhile back headcanon that saying the full name of cookies is a formal thing, and GingerBrave doesn't since he see everyone as friends, that's a neat hc), or whatever the situation of 'whys', 'wheres', and 'whos'. I assume Aurora simply did that because they're the only Aurora at this particular station, plus its Milky Way they were talking too, they're coworker for who knows how long but long enough I assume, no need for narrowing, maybe its just because its more natural to them to do so when talking to Milky Way or just in general, or something like these.
I also hc that Aurora is a hybrid cookie of sorts, like Nutmeg Tiger who's probably being half cookie and half tiger centaur thing (why am I referring BS so much in this?), just half Candy and Cookie instead, hence when shortening their name they also removed the 'Candy' part, and because that specifically we can also assume that the Candy species (btw, I picture this species as the little guys we see in Witch's Castles if you want to know a bit more of whatever the hell I'm rambling out now) probably put 'Candy' at the end of their names similar to Cookies. Weather you have a bit of Cookie/Candy/Dragon/species/who-does-this life powder in your jam its still common to refer to yourself as 'cookie'/whatever, or your form is based on a cookie and pretending to fit in, as we see with ones like the dragons who aren't Cookies but is in Cookie forms (pretending), or Fig Cookie (hybrid), and that one cookie from Towers I think (Idk, should watch the story on the other games) with very noticeable fingers for some reason when its a rare occurrences to actually see on cookies or even odder ones like that one fish guy who doesn't look like a cookie, from Ovenbreak I believe (both who I can't remember the names of nor find anywhere but I know they exist damnit)
