What is your favorite AU/prompt idea/trope for your pairing? Favorite headcanon trope/idea? (Your own or someone else’s) If you had to take them and plunk them into another fandom, what fandom would that be? Why? How hard is it write/draw your pairing? Scale of 1-10. Favorite genre for them? (Angst, fluff, etc.)
1. I’m not a fan of AU’s, but I’m all for canon rewrites (maybe one day I’ll get back to mine). And obviously, Library fix its!!
2. My favourite headcanon is actually that the Doctor doesn’t rescue River from the Library (because it would involve too much death and/or destruction and she would never thank him for that, even to save her). It’s that Missy does it (since we all know Missy knows River thanks to TDORS 5 - which I need in my ear holes now!)
3. Oh gosh, I honestly have no idea what fandom I’d plunk them into. The only one I can think of right now that would sort of work, mainly because it’s one I’m currently dying over, is Spooks. I like to think UNIT is classed as one of the secret services, so when shit happens in London/the UK, UNIT has to confer with MI5 anyway. (Plus, Harry Pearce having to deal with the Eleventh Doctor - actually, any Doctor - would make my year. Actually, Harry Pearce having to deal with River Song - who he no doubt knows from reading UNIT’s extensive files - would also make my year). The head of counter terrorism having to deal with two of the most dangerous people in the universe...fuck dammit Sandy, now I want this.
4. Eleven/River in general isn’t too hard? Like a 3? River herself is harder to write than anything, especially depending on where she is in her timeline. River/any other Doctor is harder because there’s a lot less of that in media/known canon and I’m not that confident writing any Doctor other than Eleven. Drawing them sucks because they’re all too pretty.
5. I was going to answer this with ‘fluff’ just to be an ass, but I honestly couldn’t do it. We all know it’s ANGST TO THE MAX.
