#lunchofchampions today with #sushi🍣 and whisky. This place by my house @ototosushico makes some pretty decent rolls like this Baja roll with fire sauce, and a #spicyscallophandroll. To be honest I messed up and meant to order another #sushirolls🍣 but this one did the job. Spicy but paired with some #ichirosmaltchichibu, #yamazaki18 and for dessert the #hakushusherrycask2012 it did the job. #lunchofchampions sushi series continues today as I #supportlocalsmallbusiness with #sushitakeout from the #sandiegosushi LEGENDs @sushiota. This #sushitime🍣 lunch is $20 for all this #yummyyummy. I paired their delicious #nigiri🍣 and California roll with my #japanesewhisky. Today I went with #yamazaki12, Hakushu 12, and #nikkamiyagikyo 12. I truly believe that around the 12 year mark is where the whisky barrel is really getting into making the magic juice. Seven years is the starting point, but at 12 years the power of #motherearth with good juice and good barrels is doing the happy dance.
