Yes, an excellent casting. I just wish Neil Gaiman had done some actual research before writing Loki the way he did.

Loki is THE Protector of kids, not some creep trying to kill babies... and then there is, once again, the whole "Loki hates and bullies Sigyn" crap...

This show is going to bring even more bad press to the Loki/Sigyn ship ^^'

Anyway, I'm not gonna watch it. Not after the whole NG revelations ^^'

Evil!Loki & poor victim!Sigyn depictions

No, but ok, if you're going to use the "abused wife" trope for Sigyn with a super evil Loki, at the very least, you HAVE to finish that story arc with Sigyn getting her revenge, Sansa Stark style.

Let her find her backbone and be the one who stops Loki's evil shenanigans - instead of Thor just grabbing him.

Portraying Sigyn as an abused wife who STAYS a victim and keeps getting humiliated and beaten up (Marvel)... I'm sorry, what year is this?

Norse!Loki agrees. He's 100% behind the idea of his evil selves getting defeated by his beloved wife. He'll be cheering from the sideways :)

Let her make them pay for every unkind words, every heartbreak and humiliation, every blow and betrayal.

That is what she deserves :)

No one was cast as Sigyn... so maybe they'll just erase her. Or maybe they regarded her part as so small, she'll be just an extra...

Seeing how she's treated in the comics, maybe it's better if they erase her ^^'

Better no representation than more of Loki being depicted as an abusive husband WHEN HE IS NOT IN NORSE MYTHOLOGY.

Loki threatened to rape Sigyn in the Marvel comics. It's in the story where they meet. Basically, Loki is bored, wants to find a female companion,sees Sigyn, finds her to his taste "true essence of beauty". He tries to buy her affections with some golden trinkets, but LOL.

Sigyn is already engaged and says that anyway, she would not want of him.

So what does Comics!Loki do? Well, he throws a tantrum, and threatens that she will be his ... whether she likes it or not ^^'

As for Loki killing a kid I think it was in Sandman if I remember correctly? Can someone factcheck me on this, please? It's been a while since I read it, and I really did not like this depiction so I tried to forget XDXD Shame as I LOVE Neil Gaiman, but yeah... Not Sandman!Loki ^^'
