Sanditon - First impressions.
For the ones you followed our road trip, it was quite uneasy to come to Sanditon.
We left Longbourn and our nice residence there to spend the summer in Sanditon. The LBDCC building were anyway starting to get a bit too small, and the construction of the second wing got some delays. And it started to be noisy. Better to move to Sanditon then.
We arrived yesterday. @ShrimpsNDoodles offered us a nice take away dinner. We really appreciate their warm welcome, before going to the @SanditonNation for one night. Nice and clean hotel.
Monday morning we all went to @SanditonTea to watch the first episode of Welcome to Sanditon with the Domino Application. People at the Sanditon Tea are really nice. The tea is just magic there.
We watch the video and rewatch here and rewatch here. @SanditonTea were really nice not to kick us out, with all the screaming and shouting that happened !
After that we let our nice LBDaddicts free for the day. They went exploring the city on their own.
They were pretty excited. We were happy to see how their faces brighten as soon as they put their feet on Sanditon’s streets. The past month was pretty hard on them.
However, we can see that something is spreading over them: the sanddiction, which made us wonder if it was a good idea to move here for the summer. We will see how it goes.
They were a bit overwhelmed we have to say. Sanditon is a dynamic city with a lot of different activities. They wanted to see everything and do everything. They had a list of around 200 sites to visit. We advise them to just walk randomly first in the streets and note which place to go and visit. Sanditon Tour were also very helpful. They know pretty well all the companies in the city.
Sanditon is bigger that we thought it would be. You can find everything you want. It is actually a dream city. Some things still surprised us a little bit and scare us for the security of the LBDCCians. There is a spider and a flea terrorizing the sanditonians, there is a paranormal phenomenon office. There are a lot of shops which close that day because an iconic shark was murdered by a resident of the rival city @DolphintonCA
After the Domino videos, the LBDCC team went to pick up the keys of our nice mansion. The Stanton mansion is in an area called the South Egg, outside Sanditon, near the south beach of the city. The view from our windows is breathtaking and you can ascertain by looking at the picture below. There are well furnished rooms for everyone. 2 Swimming pools, a giant Jacuzzi, a game room, a cinema (promising for future LBD/Pemberley marathon), a huge garden.
We went to the #sandparty of the DJ Lobsters (@SanditonClub) organized on the @SanditonBeach. There were really good music as usual. We met there our friend Carter hired by @SanditonBar. We had a lot of Dizzie Mizz Lizzie Cocktail pretty.
Finally we went to @SanditonScoops to get some ice creams. It was sprinkles night! We had a lot of fun!
This first day was pretty intense.
Our LBDCC-residents are really enjoying Sanditon. Some have already found a job in a place or an other, some are just 'touristing'. Some LBDCCians bought already webcams, cameras, etc and joined the Domino Beta Portal sharing their experience!
In 1 day, the sanddiction increased with .e^300. Should we be worried? The future will let us know…
Ms Watson and her LBDCC Team.
P.S.: our LBDCCians were a bit surprised to find a Mansfield Park in the city. Does Mary Bennet live close to Sanditon?
