Working on flat Tunisian crochet in the round! Borrowed Sandy Walker's book from my local library and worked up a couple of her sample squares, then crocheted them into a little pouch for mom's walker so she can wrangle her phone after surgery.

She goes under the knife Monday for a hip replacement. FINALLY. Have I mentioned that American healthcare sucks?

Tunisian in the round is super fun! 10/10 do recommend. Previous sources had me using a double ended hook with both hooks the same size. This book suggested going down a size for the "return pass" side of things and I feel like it looks way better that way. See if you can spot the difference.

In memory of Sandy Walker.

My sincerest apologies for the delay in posting a tribute post for Doug and Rob’s mom, Sandy Walker, who sadly passed away last week. And my deepest condolences to the Walkers and all who knew her. By the way Doug, Rob and Barney spoke about her, you could see she was a wonderful person. Her appearances in NC, although brief, always brought a smile to my face every single time I saw her. She seemed like such a lovely, kind and wise lady. I hope that the family are doing okay during this difficult time. My sympathies and heart go out to them. She will be missed dearly. </3
