meet harley lovegood, our resident daydreamer at hogwarts!   harley is currently a 6th year student attending hogwarts, just as her father’s side of the family has formerly. she is a pureblood, and her mother, porpentina, was a halfblood and went to ilvermorny school of witchcraft and wizardry. her father, newt scamander, attended hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. harley is the younger sister to pandora lovegood, mother of luna lovegood, which makes harley luna’s young aunt.   when harley was just a little first year at hogwarts, she was chosen for ravenclaw, and no one was surprised considering her clever and creative personality! harley is a bit of a daydreamer, she’s often teased by other classmates at hogwarts for her odd and dreamy demeanor/personality. she’s quite shy and a little bumbling, she’ll stamper a lot when talking to people she doesn’t know bcs she gets a lil nervous :o]. although being shy, she’s quite brutally honest and will speak her mind, although it will sometimes get her in trouble bcs she will just blurt stuff out without meaning to! harley is very perceptive and intelligent, although her personality might not seem like it.   she loves to write, and hopes to eventually write for the daily prophet! it’s been her dream ever since she was little. harley doesn’t have too many close friends, but she is well known and liked by most, although not by the ones who tease her. she daydreams a lot and often gets lost in her own thoughts. she’ll drift off in conversations if they aren’t interesting either,, she just,, gets bored.

devereaux (goes by dev/devin for short) is a gryffindor! 

his interests/aesthetics give him the vibe of someone who doesn’t care but in actuality he’s quite the try hard and has a (sadly) quick temper when things don’t go his way.

a 7th year! they grow up so fast…

his mother is a pureblood and his father is a halfblood, so i guess that makes him a… ¾ blood.

a member of the charms club! 

if you even try asking him to make a charm to help you cheat he will immediately refuse and report you. he’s that much of a try hard.

he knows deep down that if he were to make contact with a boggart, it’d take form of his maternal grandmother. she’s the one who’s made him so driven; whether or not it was a healthy dynamic is up to the readers.

for some reason teenage sims can’t be ambitious so i gave him the self-absorbed trait as a substitute.

pretty block-headed when it comes to reading the room, more specifically other people’s feelings on him. he’s always been too self-focused on doing good (for himself) that he’s never learned the skills to do so.

BIO:

Keara is a social butterfly. Always on the move practising quidditch or making new flirtatious connections, she has a seemingly endless supply of energy. She likes to pride herself in being very popular with everyone - though that's a very objective conception - but she also doesn't shy away from voicing her opinions. In fact, it wouldn't be Keara if she didn't voice them. 

She grew up in a small town in Ireland and up until she received her Hogwarts acceptance letter, she had pretty much the perfect life with two loving muggle parents. However, her father wasn't really a fan of the whole magic thing once he found out (he despised it) and left Keara and her mother because he didn't see her as his daughter anymore. This incident left her with very mixed feelings towards Hogwarts in her first few years there, which she (mostly) managed to overcome since. Despite all this, she has always been eager to learn - especially Transfiguration has piqued her interest from the beginning.

Keara is fiercely protective of everyone she cares about and, though she doesn't like to admit this, tends to get jealous easily. A side that she hasn't shown very often because she never really figured herself as someone to settle down with a single person. 

In the past year, this changed though and Keara started dating @mdebunny's Jeremy Locke (application will be linked later) - a grumpy housemate who, despite seeming like her polar opposite, somehow managed to become a big part of her life. She cares a lot about him and loves teasing him (and stealing his sweaters) and though she wouldn't exactly speak of love yet, she doesn't want him to go away anytime soon either.

DAPHNE CRANE ; submission

for @sandy-sims‘s harry potter universe 🔮 !!!

as a 2nd year student at hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry, daphne likes to think she knows all about magic. not quite enough to get good marks her first year, but good enough to pass!! despite not being the best at her academics, she’s got natural talent for chanting, and thus choir is the only extracurricular she likes. being muggleborn means she still doesn’t know a lot about the witching world, though. quidditch rules are still confusing, her history of magic grades suffer, and she doesn’t have the best discipline of her powers. daphne is known around the school to be the clumsiest and possibly worst witch at hogwarts, but she doesn’t let it get her down!! even when she blows up the potions lab at least once a week, falls off her broom often, and gets in trouble for using advanced spells without permission (and screwing them up royally)...

she was put in hufflepuff by the sorting hat after being embarrassed in front of the whole school, but everyone seemed to accept her with open arms! she loved being apart of the nicest house, because they would always forgive her many mistakes. they didn’t even mind that her familiar was a tortoise! although daphne doesn’t like all animals…her boggart looks like a giant shark for a reason. one trip to the beach and her fears were set in stone, but maybe this term she can find a spell to fix that?

daphne’s second year at hogwarts is going to be better than her first for sure! …right?

Most of the time Jeremy looks (and usually is) very grumpy - but he has a soft spot for those closest to him. He takes his responsibilities seriously and puts a lot of pressure on himself to do well. But he has an adventurous side too hiding underneath it all. He also has a bad temper that flares up very rarely - usually just when dealing with his parents or when someone her cares about is threatened.

Jeremy is the only son of a prominent pureblood family. His parents have always bee focused on their careers and never had any interest in raising a child except to continue the family name. They've also put a lot of pressure on Jeremy to succeed from a young age. Because of all this, he has a very strained relationship with them. He doesn't believe in their views but still tries to live up to their expectations.

Going to Hogwarts was a huge change for him. He was able to find friends and people who actually cared about him. He's only close to a few people, but they are the most important part of his life to him. He'd do anything for them. He also discovered that he has a talent for potions.

Jeremy is dating @niympha's Keara Parker (her submission can be found here.) They started dating last year and she's his first girlfriend. She's completely different from him. She's more fun and is constantly trying to get him into situations he's not used to - like sneaking out after curfew or pulling pranks or pda. But she makes him laugh and smile - and he's happy when he's with her. He's completely in love with Keara and is currently working up the courage to tell her so.

Sorry for such a long bio! Jeremy is character I’ve been roleplaying for almost a year now and there’s a lot going on with him.
